Y/n's pov.

We're in Maria's car, Maria is sending us to school. I just look out the window and watch the cars, trees, and houses pass by.

I'm with Dante and Zenix at the back. Sasha and Gene is at the front and Maria's friend is on the passenger seat.

" hey kids, you guys alright? " Maria asked as she look at the rearview mirror.

" we're fine " Gene said.

" hey Maria, you don't have to pick me up later, I'm going out with Aphmau later " i said, she nodded.

We arrived at school and Gene was the first one to climb out the car. Once we all are out, Gene as usual are with Sasha and Zenix went to the back of he school.

For me, i don't have the mood to skip. I enter the hallway and made my way to my locker.

" looks like Gene's not around " i know that voice.

I turn to see Jay, Max and Chloe.

" I'm not in the mood Jay " i said and turn back around.

" what's wrong?, don't you wanna hang? " he asked and touch my shoulder.

" don't touch me " i said.

Then my hair was yanked and grip. I look to see Max.

Why Max?

" no Gene, no one to save " he bang my head on my locker door as i fell on my knees.

Everyone turned to our direction.

" what is this? " i heard principal Layla.

" oh, we were helping Y/n, she fell " Chloe lied.

" go to class, class starts in two minutes " she said.

She nodded and change her face into disgust as principal Layla laughed.

" i hate that face " she said.

" let's go " Jay said.

" hope you rot there " Max said and left.

Everyone left, leaving me alone in the hallway. I open my locker, a knife and papers spilled out. My books in it was torn, the papers ripped.

" Y/n L/n, what are you doing, classes already started, detention " Mr. Chad scold, i nodded.

I hid the knife in the bag and headed to detention.

I entered the room and see Gene, Sasha and Zenix was there, and other students, looks like their caught. Their eyes widened as they saw me. I don't feel like looking at them.

There was no chairs and table, they were sitting in the floor except the teacher.

" don't be surprised, the tables has been borrowed " the teacher explained.

I went to the corner and sit down. A paper was thrown at me. It was crumbled into a ball. I pick it up and unfold it.

I crumbled it back into a ball, not even looking at it. I threw it to the trash and sat back down.

I see the others had their phone on. I took out mine, that is 0% percent. I sighed put it back in my bag. Another paper ball was thrown at me, i saw the person who threw it at me, i threw it back at him.

" sir, I'm afraid Y/n is littering " he smirked. and show the paper ball i threw.

" Y/n, that's detention for one week " he said.

Today's Monday, yay, lucky me.

He sat back down and high-five his friend beside him.

~ Time Skip ~

It's the end if the day, we all are leaving now.

" Y/n stay " he said.

I walk over to hid desk.

" Y/n your behavior is getting worse, if your keeping this up i might have to expel you for a month, you hear me? " he asked, i nodded.

" you may leave " he said, i walk away.

" Y/n " he called, i groaned in annoyance as i turn.

" the knife please " he said.

I unzipped my back and put the knife on his table.

" it's not the answer Y/n " he said and i left.

I saw Maria's car just left.

I walk on the sidewalk, Gene's house is 5 blocks away. I sighed.

Maybe i should tell Gene the truth, if he wants to listen to me. Not even Sasha or Zenix wants to listen to me.

Everything is going back to what it was, back at elementary.

Walk alone, bullied. But Max was there, and now everything is upside down. Max is the bully. He's going to make my life miserable, not Gene.

I lost the love of my life, i lost my best friends, i lost dad, i lost everyone. Maybe i really are not meant to be here.

I'm just a waste of space.

In the wrong place.

Max hates me, Gene hates me, Mom hates me. Everyone hates me.

Before i could know it, rain pours heavily down on me. I don't mind covering my head. I just walk normally back.

It took me an hour. I entered the house all wet.

" oh dear Y/n, your all soaked " Maria said.

" I'm fine " i said and sneezed.

She felt my head.

" you just caught a cold, weren't you with Aphmau? " she asked.

" oh, she cancelled so i just walk home alone " i said and sneezed.

" go change, I'll get the temperature " she said.

~ Time Skip ~

" 38.9 " she said.

" are you sure you don't need any blanket? " she asked, i nodded.

She frowns and left.

" hey " Dante came.

" hey " i said and sit up.

He helped me a bit.

" here " he gave me a blanket.

I push it away.

" i don't need it " i said.

" Y/n, it's going to be freezing tonight, you'll freeze to death " he said, i sighed and nodded.

He put the covers around me. Dante slowly leans in.

" Dante don't, you know I'm with Gene, and you'll catch a cold from me, you should go " i said.

" okay " he frowns and went upstairs to his room.

I sneezed and lie down.
