Early in the Spring of my 16th year, Joe decided to show me a Beatles' song. I never really liked them; I just thought they were a bunch of old guys from a century ago. But one day, it all changed.
"Time for recess, Class!", Mrs. Johnson says.
"My favorite class", I said to Joe.
"Haha! Same here, Bobby!", Joe said
I met Joe out on the playground. I noticed he had his iPod in his pocket. What kind of music do you have?
"I have The Beatles. You wanna lis-"
Eww! wtf man!? they're like 100 years old!"
"Give them a try. I guarantee you'll enjoy it."
Fine. Put a song on.
Joe then put on a song called I Wanna Hold Your Hand. "Well?"
It's actually kinda good. Better than today's music that sounds like two transformers having sex.
"See. I told you!"
We then had to go back to class. I couldn't get that tune out of my head for the rest of the day.
"Diiiing!"
"There's the bell, have a fun and safe weekend!", Mrs. Smith announces.
Joe then asked me what I had planned for the weekend. I told him not much.
Maybe I'll look up some more Beatles' songs, I told him.
"Yay! I'm glad you like them so much! See ya on Monday."
