"Where is she!" A voice roared walking through the tower. Ashley looked up ealing a threat. Dick rushed over to the door. "Your back?" He was shoved against the wall by a boy with black hair he was taller and his muscles tensed holding the usually calm boy against the wall by his shirt. "My girlfriend goes missing and you think I'm not coming home! I'll ask you again dick! Where is Lena!" Bruce walked in standing in front of Ashley to somewhat Shield her from the sight. "Jason. Calm down" he commanded. "Let go of your brother! And sit down" Jason clenched his jaw before releasing his brother from a death grip. "Fine. But explain to me why I'm only just hearing about this. Tell me where she is" Ashley stood up looking at Jason. "Who the fuck are you!" He shouted at the girl. She raised an eyebrow leaning on the table. "Ashley. I'm lenas blood sister. Now. Stop shouting at me" he snickered not taking her claims Serouisly until he looked around and show the expression on his brothers face. "And where the hell have you been her whole life?" He seemed somewhat irritated. "On another world. Actually I didn't know I have a sister until 3 days ago. Now. Who the fuck are you" he recoiled slightly raising an eyebrow "Jason. Lenas boyfriend. Where is she then if your here." Ashley sat back down seemingly unbothered by the boy. "One my earth we're find a way back to my earth. So since your late to the party how about you make yourself useful and get me a drink okay kiddo" she smirked skimming through the computer. Dick stood with a terrible smile on his face "oh she's definitely lenas sister." Bruce chuckled continuing to search. The others were checking books and consulting with others. They had to find a way to amplify the portal their mother created years ago. Ashley was a smart girl this may be her greatest challenge. Everyday she had tried to call out for her sister. Yet nothing. The bond was broken somehow. She stood up. "I need a break" she walked up to the roof with dick as they had started to do every day just to separate from the noise downstairs. She huffed. "We're gonna need a lot more power to do this" she confessed her doubt that it was even possible. Dick nodded in agreement not sure how they would get this power. Ashley began to think out loud. "What if I took the bracelet off?" His eyes widened with her words. "You can't what if he finds you. And her" she let out a huff. "I'm sure opening one portal won't get his attention I open it then put the bracelet back on and only take it off to get Lena back to you guys..." he sat for a moment thinking. He raised a gloved hand to scratch the back of his neck "I don't know Ashley. It might work but... it's a big risk. I don't know if the others will go for it" she fiddled with the strings "maybe they don't have to know..." with that the string was yanked. Her bracelet feel to the floor. She sighed before closing her eyes to try and focus. "Ashley! This is crazy! Stop put it back on." She ignored his pleads before stopping. She felt the cold metal on her wrist as he clipped it back on himself. "What the hell did you think you were doing. If he senses that he'll come for you and her. I can't let that happen." He shook his head walking away. "God that was stupid" he slammed he door and she huffed sitting back down with a thump.

Jason looked around at them all going through countless books and archives. He decided to leave them be a while and walked away. He walked out to the roof mumbling to himself. "I'm a shitty boyfriend. I'm never here for fuck sake. I never do anything right" he was startled by Ashley turning around. "What were you not here for." She asked bluntly. The boy was reluctant to share such information "look man. You tell me or I go in your head and find out myself. Take he latter" he looked at his feet and sat down. "I got her hurt before. She erm. She told everyone it was an accident that dick tried to save her. But it was me. I did it to her." His words cracked under the weight. She gave a humourless laugh "what'd you do" she leant back against a metal beam. "There was this... guy. He hurt me when I was a kid. Anyway she went after him for me. I followed to stop her. But I was too late. He had a saw. By the time I walked in he'd cut half way through her leg. She told people it was a Car accident. But it was my fault. I should've been there." Ashley nodded "Shit. Well. If it makes you feel better I nearly got my boyfriend killed once." Jason chuckled a little "how?" She laughed a little. "I told him I loved him. He erm. Followed me into a fight. And the guy went to shot me. Yeah the bullet never hit me" Jason bit his lip "lover boy jumping in the way?" Her face dropped I sadness as she shook her head "nah. They guy. Bucky. Decided to shoot my boy instead. Keep me out the way. Then he tried to kill my adopted mum." They sat in silence for a moment "That's deep... hey look. You know I died once?" She let out a loud laugh at his change in tone. Like he was proud of the statement "I'm serouis" he laughed with her "I'm was blown up. After being savagely beaten of course" she laughed nodding "only way to go!" He chuckled agreeing. "I'll drink to that!"
