6 months rolled by Lena could talk without struggling. After a year she could move her top half. Now she was at the doctors with dick pretty much learning to walk again. Dick stood with her guiding her.  She stood on her feet holding the railings either side of her body. "Take it slow" he reassured her, she managed to get one foot forward. Dick smiled "you can do it. One step at a time." She looked down bring her other foot forward. She smiled. Managing to keep going until she got to the end. "Play turn yourself around" she nodded doing her best to try it. After 30 minutes she turned herself around. Without anyone helping her. Dick watched her as she moved on her own. Soon enough it was time to leave she was back in the wheelchair. Dick walked next to her "how's it feel to be back in buckys room" she smiled as they waited for the elevator. "It's so nice. Sleeping alone for the last year's and a half hasn't been fun. We actually had sex last night" dick looked at her confused. They had been best friends since they were 10. They spoke to eachother about everything so him hearing this doesn't surprise him. It was just the fact it happened. "Did you feel anything?" She shook her head pushing herself into the evaluator. "Kinda. Every now and again. My body was reacting but my brain just didn't process it. I donno." They spent the whole journey home talking about it. 35 minutes later the evaluator opened and the two came through stark tower hearing a heated discussion going on. "This is your fault in the first place!" Ashley shouted a smash coming from the room. "You were the one who tried to cut her eye out!" Bucky shouted right back. Lena grabbed dick getting him to stay. "You know what bucky your right.  We should send her back!" Ashley screamed lenas heart sunk. Dick looked at her "lee" she moved her chair back going into her room. "Lena!" Dick called after her. As she slammed the door. Bucky and Ashley turned around "Shit." Bucky walked down the hall banging on the door. "Doll. Come on open the door" he got no reply. She didn't come out all night. Not for dinner not for a chat. Not even when Steve went to talk. Bucky slept on the sofa that night. He woke up the next morning his back aching. He huffed walking to the kitchen making her brekfast. "Baby." He knocked on the door lightly "I made you brekfast... pancakes... doll please let me in." He twisted the handle it was finally unlocked. She wasn't in there. The room was a mess. "Doll?" He walked around finding his military tags and her necklace on the side. "Lena?" He checked the bathroom before seeing her things were gone. Her clothes. Her toiletries.  Everything.  He ran down the the lounge "Tony!" He shouted "I need the security footage from the hall last night" Tony frowned "and why is that bucky?" The man grew Impatient. "Now!" He shouted. Tony bring it up scrolling through. "There stop." Tony obliged letting him see. Lena kept from her room. A duffle back on her lap. She got in the lift. "Where is she going?" Bucky huffed. Tony checked the cams from the lobby.  She got into a car with no plates. Tony looked at him. "What happened" bucky shifted around uncomfortably "me and Ashley were arguing about sending her back to her world. She heard us." Tony got up. "Right. I'll get everyone up. I'm not stopping until we fid her and the both of you apologise. Let's hope she hasn't gone back because we'll never find her"

But they wouldn't find the girl. Everyone assumed it would be easy. She couldn't get far in her condition. There's always a way. Every camera around the world was checked. Every phone conversation. Ashley tried to reach her but. Nothing. Bucky knew if she didn't want to be found she wouldn't be. But he had hope. He needed hope. Ashley was beside herself. Peter had tried everything in his power to make her happy. Dick tried reaching her. She had even cut him off. The only thing they could do was look. They didn't stop searching.  Ashley contacted the other world. Everyone there was searching but nothing. Everyone on both worlds had fought to hard to let go. however, maybe it was time.
