Stark tower sat in silance. Which was unusual to say the least. Ashley walked out of her bedroom to grab a drink. When the lift opened. The speak of a wheelchair filled the room. Ashley turned around seeing her sister. The pale girl was completely motionless. A tube coming out of her nose which looked uncomfortable. She was covered in stitches and bruises.  "Lena. Shit" Ashley walked towards her. Lena looked at her still not moving "are you alright. Say something" Natasha placed a hand on Ashleys shoulder "sweetie lenas really not well. Let bucky put her to bed and we'll talk okay?" The woman lead her daughter to the lounge sitting her down "Lena has brain damage Ashley.  She's paralysed completely. We don't know how long it will last." Ashleys breath caught in her throat she felt sick. "She can move every now and again but not much. She's going to need your help okay?" Ashley nodded. "She's using her gifts to talk to people at the moment. But it stalls every now and again. Tony wanted her here where we could watch her but she might need to go back to the hospital every so often." Ashley nodded standing up. "I'm going to see her." She walked down the hall to a spare room. Bucky was in the doorway as a nurse was sorting her out. Ashley pushed past him sitting down next to her sister. Hey l you need anything? Lenas eyes met hers to move would be nice. Not be feed through a tube. And actually go to the toilet myself. Ashley grimaced at the thought. She couldn't control her body Ashley had no idea how that could affect someone. "Okay Lena.  Your all fine. I've been told to give you this. Just try to give it a squeeze every now and again just start the process a little quicker" the nurse placed a small foam ball in lenas hand giving her a smile. The nurse left and bucky walked a little closer. He could see in her eyes how much she was trying to get her hand to move. "Lena it's okay if you can't do it. Really the important thing is that your trying" her eyes didn't move they narrowed at the ball in her hand. Her ring finger twitched a tiny bit. She exhaled deeply in irritation. Ashley placed a hand on her shoulder "it's okay Lee. Don't push yourself" Lena ignored her sisters words. If I don't push myself I'll be like this forever. She said her eyes still narrowed on her hand. Bucky sighed watching his girlfriend try. He felt so guilty about everything. "I'm sorry Lena... this is my fault." She looked at him managing to frown for a secound. Shut up. Stop blaming yourself she looked back down at her hand concentrating. Nothing would work. Sigh let others a huff and the ball shot across the room. As the door opened. Steve caught the ball before it hit his face. Ashley held in a laugh. As Steve walked into the room. "Guys can I talk to Lena alone please?" Bucky and Ashley got up. Bucky placed a kiss on lenas forehead before walking out. Steve sat down looking down. "I know you can't exactly talk right now. But just hear me out... I wanted to apologise for everything. I should've fought a little better. I gave up too easy. And now your like this." He put the ball back in her hand. "You can't move at all?" Her eyes looked around I get twitches every now and again. If I rally concentrate I can move a finger her voice was proud in his head. He closed his eyes giving her a smile. He looked back at her. "I'm so sorry lena" she huffed don't feel bad. I wish everyone would stop it. Steve shut his mouth looking down. "D d d don... don't." She struggled to get the words out and gave up huffing. Steve placed a hand on her arm. "If you need anything let me know alright I'll be here."
