Anna Kingsman, aged twenty five, is finally giving herself a chance on the charts, after years of youtube! The singer/songwriter has signed on with Golden Records in Hollywood. Kingsman herself just moved to L.A. from Nebraska, to pursue this wonderful opportunity.

Luckily, our good friend Jack was able to snag an interview with the busy artist to learn more about her for you all!

JACK; you moved to California to follow your best friend after her engagement. Why?
ANNA; well, she's my best friend. She's my rock and helped me a lot in life, plus, I'm the godmother of her child.

J; that's sweet. What started your love for music?
A; high school, unfortunately. Those four years were really stressful and music took me to a different place. After I met my best friend, her daughter was already in school and it was the way I connected with my goddaughter.

J; you talk about your goddaughter a lot. Are you expecting anymore or wanting more godchildren?
A; I'm so sorry! I don't mean to talk about her so much. But yes, my best friend is pregnant again, she hasn't said anything about me being the godmother for this baby. She's wanting a boy, which I'm hoping for too, but her fiancée wants a little girl.

J; that's great for them! What can you tell us about your single?
A; it's taken from personal experiences. At a point in my life, I was offered a record but I ended up declining because they didn't allow me to be me. It's about being yourself and having something that no one can break.

J; that's amazing! Are you hoping to have a positive response to the song?
A; I think that everyone hopes for a positive response when they release something, so yes, I do pray for that. But the biggest thing I pray for, is that someone takes the song and gives it personal meaning to them.

J; you're religious?
A; no, I don't belong to a religion. I have a relationship with my savior and He gives me what I need. I believe in my God, that's all.

J; that's moving. We have one last question and we'll make it easy. What's your favorite color?
A; oh, that is easy! It's teal and white!

J; anything else you want to say while we still have a couple minutes left?
A; yeah, just a huge thank you for everyone's whose been rooting for me since the youtube covers. A thank you to my best friend and her daughter for always picking me up. And a big thank you to Chris, he knows who he is and why I'm thanking him.
