A Different Kind of Love

Chapter 2

*Jacob's pov*

I woke up to a yelling Shawn.

"DUDE! WAKE UP!" He yelled at me.

"What? Why? What time is it?"

"It's 12:30! We need to get ready and meet the others!"

"Oh my Gosh!" I hopped out of bed and immediately got dressed not even knowing what my hair looked like.

We got downstairs and the others were mad at me because I overslept.

"Where's Mahogany?" I asked while looking around. I couldn't find her anywhere. She had one of those faces that you can spot in a crowd of 5,000 people.

"Oh, she's already at the place. She had to set up her computer," Jack J said.

"Oh ok. Well let's go!" I grabbed my guitar and we drove to the convention center.

"Hey Mahogany," I said while smiling at her.

"Hey Jacob."

"How are you?"

"Good thanks. How are you?"

"Never better."

We stared at each other in silence not knowing what to say next.

After a few minutes, the show finally started.

"Püma!" We all said as we walked on stage. The girls when wild. I never have been in front of this many people before. I usually just perform at a bar or something.

"We have a new member of Magcon! Meet Jacob Whitesides," Nash said while pointing at me.

"Hello everybody. How is everybody doing?" All the girls started screaming at the top of their lungs.

"I love you Jacob!" One girl yelled out when it was quiet.

"I love you too beautiful." I looked over at her and she started crying.

Meeting the fans went by pretty fast. Almost all the girls hugged me when they came to me.

I went on my phone and saw that I had over 20,000 followers on Twitter and Instagram.

"Woah." I said to myself.

"What's wrong?" Mahogany asked while walking over to me.

"I got over 20,000 followers in just a few hours."

"I know how you feel. Same thing happened to me when I joined Magcon." She laughed. She had the cutest little laugh.

"Why are you staring at me?" I hadn't realized that I was looking at her like I just peed for the first time in like a year.

"Oh sorry. It's just..." I drifted off in the middle of the sentence.

"It's just what?"

"You're just so beautiful." She smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ears.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." I smiled even bigger than ever.

*Mahogany's pov*

"You're just so beautiful." That just took me by surprise.

Was I starting to have feelings for him? No! I'm not! I have no interest in dating at the moment. I have to focus on my career. Not my love life. Who said we couldn't be close friends though?

"I wanted to tell you that I've watched some of your videos on YouTube and you have an amazing voice!" I said.

"Oh thank you."

"No problem."

"Mahogany?"

"Yes..."

"I know it's only my first full day here but I want you to know something."

"What is it?"

"I really like you. The minute I laid eyes on you, I knew you would be the one for me."

"Jacob I-" and then I was cut off by him kissing me. Honestly, he was a really good kisser. Our lips moved with sync.

"I'm sorry. I just had to do that. I know we just met each other yesterday but I just want you to know how if feel. I respect your opinion about me. I really do. I just want you to know that I would never hurt you. In any way."

Before he could say anything else, I leaned in and kissed him again. This time, there were even more sparks. I've never felt this way towards anyone before. I felt like I could be myself around him. I felt like I could be my ditzy self around him.

"I feel the same way about you," I said.

He pressed his forehead to mine and we just smiled until we heard, "Aww!" from Matthew.

"Way to ruin the moment," Jacob said with a chuckle.

"Whatever. You guys are cute together. I SHIP JOX!" He ran around and started yelling that. Oh God.

"Guys, we can't tell anyone. Please. You know what happened with Taylor and Ashley. He got so much hate. I don't want that to happen. Please," I said.

"We won't tell anyone. Matty, hear that? No telling anyone. Ok?"

"Fiiiine," he sighed and made a pouting face. Well that was that.
