A Different Kind of Love

Chapter 5

*Jacob's pov*

Should I ask or nah? I'll ask.

I walked up to Mahogany's hotel door with a red rose and knocked.

"Hey boo," she said eying the rose.

"A beautiful rose for a beautiful girlfriend."

"Aw! Thanks Jake. So what's up?"

"Well, since we don't have any plans for tonight, would you like to go out for dinner with me?"

"Really?"

"Of course babe."

"I would love too. I don't really have anything to wear though."

"You and Sierra can go shopping together."

"Ok, except one thing. Sierra isn't here."

"Actually, she's flying in today. She wanted to spend the weekend here. She's been dying to meet you!"

"Oh my God! Really? Finally another girl!"

"Ya, I hope you don't mind her sleeping in your room. Do you?"

"Not at all. We should probably get to know each other better anyways because well, I am dating her brother." I just smiled and so did Mahogany.

"What time should she arrive?"

"In like an hour. We should probably get ready. She said that she has a surprise for me so I'm kinda nervous."

"Oh God!"

"Ya. My sister never has good surprises."

*Mahogany's pov*

Time flew by. Before we know it, we are at the airport waiting for Sierra.

"JACOB!" She said while running into Jacob's arms.

"I missed you so much!" He said.

"I missed you too! You wanna see your surprise?"

"I guess..."

"JACOB!!!" An unfamiliar face ran up to Jacob and they did their "bro hug" that guys do. I don't know why.

"DYLAN! Bro, I missed you like crazy!"

"I missed you too! So who is this?" Dylan said while eying me up and down.

"Dylan, meet my beautiful girlfriend, Mahogany LOX."

"Ahh, so you're the famous Mahogany LOX. It's nice to meet you. I'm Dylan Holland"

"Nice to meet you too."

"So how about we get this show on the road!"

We grabbed our stuff and walked to the hotel. I'm not sure who Dylan would be sharing a room with. Maybe like Dillon Rupp since him and Taylor are the only two with the suite.

"Hey guys! It's nice to finally meet you all. I've heard so much about you," Dylan said.

"Nice to meet you too."

"Hey guys! I'm Sierra," she said.

"Hey!"

"Hey Sierra, I need your help," I said.

"What?" She gave me the dirtiest look.

"I want you to help me going shopping for a dress. I'm going on a date with your brother tonight and I don't have anything to wear."

"Do I really have too?"

"I would appreciate it."

"Sierra, how about you go? Please. For me?" Jacob said while doing a puppy face. He looked pretty hot while doing that. I'm not gunna lie to you.

"Fiiiiiine." She did a huge sigh.

"Ok well we better go now. The mall is just right down the street."

"Whatever."

I drove down the street and she didn't say a word.

"Hey is everything alright?" I asked.

"Ya. Everything's fine. Is it ok if I tell you something? You can't tell anyone. Not even Jacob."

"Ya sure what is it?"

"If you ever hurt my brother I will kill you. Literally." Wow! That took my breath away. She said it in like a evil voice too!

"Sierra, you won't have to worry about that. I think it's sweet that you want to protect your brother but I would never hurt him in any way. Not in a million years. He's the sweetest guy I've ever met. He cares about me and I care about him. He also still loves you and I hope you know that."

"I do know that you idiot. I'm just warning you, if you hurt him, I will hunt you down and kill you." That made me feel safe.

Honestly, I didn't feel quite comfortable sharing a room with her. I was afraid that she would like stab me or something while I was sleeping.

I picked out a blue cocktail dress with black heels. It was a really pretty dress I just wasn't sure that it looked good on me.

"Woah, you look beautiful," Jacob said when he came to my door, "well, you always look beautiful."

"Aw! Thanks boo. You look very sexy in that suit." He just laughed and so did I.

"Shall we?"

"We shall."

We ended up eating at Olive Garden. Wasn't the nicest but everything was packed.

"Hey what's wrong?" I'm guessing that he noticed that my leg was shaking.

"I'm fine. I'm just a little...cold...that's all." Before I could say anything else, he gave me his jacket. You could see his arm muscles through the shirt. It was pretty sexy.

"Thanks boo." He grabbed my hand and we sat there smiling at each other.

After he paid, we went to the hotel and just watched a movie. He put his arm around my shoulder and I just snuggled my head under his chin.

We weren't even paying attention. I knew he was thinking about me and he knew that I was thinking about him. To be honest, I didn't even know what we were watching. That's how off guard I was.

I fell asleep after a brief second and so did Jake. It looked like it could be a cute picture except I look ratchet when I sleep. Let's just hope that Sierra doesn't come into the room and shoot me.
