A Different Kind of Love

Chapter 11

*Jacob's pov*

It was almost that time. Magcon was almost done and that would mean I would have to say goodbye to my best friends and the love of my life Mahogany LOX.

Tomorrow was the last official day of magcon. We are finishing up our tour and it's going to be a big one since almost everybody isn't coming back except a few people. Everybody hasn't said if they're coming back just yet.

I fell asleep crying since tomorrow was the last full day being with Mahogany for awhile. I was planning to visit her at one point. I would miss her deeply.

I woke up this morning happy and sad at the same time.

"Last day of magcon. I'm gunna miss you bro," Shawn said to me. He looked like he had just been threw a hurricane or something. His hair was all over the place. It was funny.

"I'm gunna miss you too man. I'm gunna miss everyone."

I checked my phone and I saw that an unknown number had called me. They left a voicemail asking me to call them back so I dialed the number and returned their call. I was anxious to know what or who it was.

"Hello?"

"Hello. Is this Jacob Whitesides?"

"Yes. Who is this?"

"This is the manager of OMG Music Fest. We have watched many of your YouTube videos and vines and we were wondering if you would like to be willing to tour with us? We would love to sit down with you and figure all the details out but we think that this could be the start of a huge career for you. As you probably know, Nicki Minaj did start with us. You could be as big as her one day." This took me by surprise. I couldn't pass this up. This was my big break. This was the moment my life was going to change forever.

"I would love to sit down with you."

"Ok great. Is June 5th ok for us to talk?" the man said.

"Ya that's perfect."

"Ok great. See you then. Have a great day."

"Thank you. You too."

I was speechless. Shawn looked at me like he was waiting for me to tell him what that was about.

"OMG Music Fest wants me to do a tour with them."

"Dude that's awesome!"

"I know! I did expect that at all."

"You deserve it. You have a true talent. You could go big one day."

"Thanks Shawn. I think you could go big too. Who knows. Maybe one day, you'll open up for Austin Mahone."

"Ya that'll probably not happen."

"Who knows...it could."

I started packing my stuff because tonight would be a late night.

I was afraid to break the news to Mahogany. I was afraid that she would think I would forget her. Or that I would fall in love with a fan and just drop her. That would never happen though. All of my fans are beautiful but my biggest fan is the one that stands out to me the most. And that is my beautiful Mahogany LOX.

We all met downstairs and I could tell all of them were sad. Especially Cameron, Nash, Hayes, and Matthew. Nash and Cameron said that they would be living in LA together after magcon ended so they would see each other a lot. That's what made Hayes so upset though. His brother was moving out and he would have to take on the responsibility of being the oldest kid in the house. He claims that he's not a little kid anymore.

I saw Mahogany and she was just looking at the ground. Not even bothering to look up at anyone except me when I walked up to her. She hugged me so tight. I didn't want to let go of her.

"I don't want you to leave!" she said.

"I don't want you to leave either!"

"We have to promise to keep in touch. Ok?"

"I promise."

"We also have to promise each other that we'll see each other as much as possible."

"Ya I need to talk to you about that." Her eyes got real narrow. They were filled with fear. Fear filled my insides.

"The OMG Music Fest just called me asking if I wanted to do a tour with them."

"What that's awesome! Wait...that means we won't be able to see each other as much."

"I know. They want to sit down with me and discuss everything."

"You can't pass up an opportunity like this Jacob. This is HUGE!"

"I know. That's the thing. I won't forget you and I want you to know that. I will always remember you. I'll text you everyday and call you if I can."

"FaceTime. Not call. I need to see your beautiful face." We both just laughed.

"I need to see your perfect face too babe. I'm gunna miss you. Let's just forget this right now and live in the moment. We're together and that's all that matters."

"You're totally right. I love you."

"I love you too."

The show went by so fast. It was a bigger and better show since it was our last one together. I didn't want it to end.

Before we knew it, it was already midnight. We all said goodnight to each other and did one big group hug.

"We're not the Magcon Boys...we're the Magcon Family," Cameron said.

"I love you guys. No matter what," Taylor said while looking into each and everyone of our eyes.

"I love you all too," I said. We all hugged for about a minute and then went to sleep. Well, that was how our last full day with each other went. I was going to miss all of them deeply but I was going to miss Mahogany most.
