Family dinner

Riker

I was in the bathroom and I heard someone coming so I hurry up. I open the door and see Rydel and Ross. I make eye contact with Ross and tears form in his eyes. He takes off running with Rydel hot on his heels. I couldn't help but see he cut again. The last time he did that he came to me because we were in a fight. I helped in through it.

I brush it off and walk to my room. Truth is I'm not with Ellington. I just didn't want to be with Ross anymore. It was weird being with him. It was like we weren't the same anymore. Ross is handsome and sexy but I don't know. I just don't like the feeling it gives me when I'm around him. It's like my heart loves him and is saying go with him but my brain is telling me don't be with him everybody will treat you differently. Which they will I know. The family has. I just wanna be looked at as a normal person not someone being incest.

At first yes I did only do it because I felt bad but then I realized I couldn't do that anymore.

Ross

"Come on Ross everybody's waiting for us for dinner and you need to eat."
"I'm not hungry Rydel."
"Ross don't do this. Don't do this to me. Don't to this to the rest. And don't do this to yourself. You need to eat Ross!" Rydel says serious. "Do it for me."
"Okay fine." I give in.
"Yay! Okay let's go I'm hungry!" She says and we laugh.
"You're always hungry."
"I know I am."
We walk downstairs and into the kitchen. Everybody looks up from there plates and stares at me. I reach for Rydel's hand and squeeze it tight.
"Hey Ross." My mom says and I nod. I put my head down and walk to my seat. Rydel's next to me but so is Riker.

It's an awkward silence while we eat. I just pick at my food not really eating. I'm to depressed to. I feel someone tap my leg. I look down and see its Rydel. I look at her and she whispers. "Ross eat now." She says and I nod.
"No secrets! What ya whispering about?" Ellington says and I glare at him. Why is he even here?
"Nothing ell." Rydel says.
"No I think we all wanna know. You to have been close lately. Funny how that is when you're dating Riker." Rocky says and I look down.
"Rocky it's not like that." Rydel tries.
"No Rydel! What's the truth? Because nobody tells it anymore! I thought we were raised to to the truth an be honest. What happened to that?" Rocky yells which makes me look at him.
"You wanna know the truth?" I ask and he nods waiting for my answer.
"She was telling me to eat! I haven't been eating." I yell telling some of the truth.
"Why haven't you been eating honey?" Mom asks.
"Ask Riker." I say and stand up.
"Sit down Ross." Dad says sternly. "We're settling this now."
"Tell us why you haven't been eating." Mom sys sternly.
"I said ask Riker."
"What the hell does Riker have to do with this?" Dad asks getting confused and pissed.
"He dumped me!" I yell and tears form. "He never loved me! He lied! It was all a big joke to him an Ellington!" I yell and everybody's shocked.
"What do I have to do with this?" Ellington asks.
"You're dating Riker. You two probably planned this just to humiliate me."
"No I am not dating Riker! I'm not gay!" Ell says and I look at Riker along with everybody else.
"Riker explain." Mom says.
"Fine I made it up." He says and looks down. That just makes more tears rolls.
"Why? I thought you and Ross were happy together?" Rydel asks.
"He was I wasn't."
"Wow sorry I made you unhappy." I but in. I bite my cheek/tongue to hold in my tears.
"Then why did you do it Riker? Why would you just play me like that? Because that month was the best days of my life."
"It felt weird Ross! And don't tell me it didn't." He says and I roll my eyes. I look off in the distance trying not to cry.
"How? How did it feel weird?"
"You're kindling me right? Everybody we told looked at us different. Mom didn't even hardly talk to us anymore. Dad wasn't even okay with it. I haven't talked to Rocky just when we went to bed. Ryland didn't even look at me and let alone talk to me! See it's not right! I want it to be normal again. I want it to go back to where mom talked to us. Dad messed around with us. When we all watched football. When we were family!" Riker yells. "This family is falling apart. And it's all from you! It's all you having a crush on me!" Riker yells and I can't hold the tears in anymore.
"Fine you think I'm ruining this family I'll leave." I say and get up. I walk to the door only hearing Rydel call my name. I ignore it and walk out the front door. I just keep walking and crying. Rydel is a little bit behind me but I don't care. I guess she's the only one who cares about me.

I reach the park and sit on the park bench. "Aren't you Ross lynch?" I hear some one say. I look up and see about a 14 year old standing there.
"Yeah I am."
"What's wrong? I guess when you tweeted you really were being serious."
"Yeah I was. Just some family issues."
"Oh I hope you figure everything out."
"Thanks! Did you want a picture or something?"
"No well yes. I did but then I seen you're upset so I didn't wanna bug you."
"Oh it's okay here we can take a picture. I look like shit sorry."
"Naw you look fine." She says and hands me her phone. Her hand touches my bandages.
"You didn't did you?" She asks and I look down.
"I did." I whisper. "Please don't tell the whole R5family. I'll do anything."
"I won't tell them Ross. If you promise me one thing."
"What's that?"
"You don't cut again!"
"I'll try shorty. How will you know if I do or don't?"
"I have my ways."
"Alright I won't." I says and we take pictures.
Rydel finds me and runs over to me. She hugs me tight.
"He didn't mean it Ross. You're not tearing the family apart." She cries.
"I'm obviously doing something. You're the only one who gives a shit about me."
"That's not true. They all love you."
"No they don't Rydel! You're the only who came after me! They all say there. You're the only one who cares!" I say and sob into her shoulder.
"Shhh. Come on I have my card. Lets go to the hotel down the street. We don't have to go home." She says.
"Okay." I say and she stands up. I stand up and we finish walking down the street to the hotel. She books a room and we walk up to it. We walk in the newly done room. "It's getting late. Let's just go to bed." She says and takes her jacket off. I nod my head and take me shirt and jeans off so I'm in my boxers. I walk to the double bed for me and Delly to share and hop in. Delly follows and we soon drift off into a dreamy sleep.
