I lay in our bed holding Layla. She's trying To keep my mind off of everything. It's somewhat working. Layla gets up and grabs my phone, she starts calling her father. He finally answers, she puts it on speaker. I don't talk though.
"Daddy?"
"Yeah princess? What are you doing up?"
"Can you come home? Dads a mess and I know you are to."
"Alright. I'll be there in a bit."
"Okay. Bye daddy see you soon." Layla says and hangs up. She turns her attention back to me.
"He's coming home daddy! He'll be here soon."
"Okay baby girl. It's late you need to sleep."
"I know it is. And I know you're trying to get me to go to sleep because you wanna be alone with dad." She says an walks over to the bed. "Night." She says once she gets settled in my lap. I play with her hair.
"Thank you." I whisper and kiss her head. "Night baby doll. Daddy loves you." I say an kiss her cheek again.

A few minuets pass and I hear the front door open. I gently set Layla on the bed and race down the stairs. Ross stands there with tear stained eyes. I run over to him and wrap my arms around him tightly.
"I'm so sorry I left Riker. I sorry I snapped." He say and starts crying gonna.
"Shhh it's okay baby, I understand. I wanna do it with you but I'm not ready to do it when our kids are in the house."
"So what we have to get away to have sex?"
"No I'm not saying that Ross. Layla doesn't have her own room yet, she sleeps with us. I'm not gonna do anything with her right there. She could hear us or even see us."
"Alright I understand. I'm sorry again. I won't try to do anything."
"I'm not saying that Ross. I'm saying we aren't gonna go all the way with our daughter here. I'm not ready to do that. Just give it some time."
"Okay. I love you Riker."
"I love you to baby. So much." I say and kiss him passionately.
"Come on let's to to bed."
"Okay." I say and we head to our room. When we get in there we strip to our boxers and climb in bed. I hold Layla and Ross does the same.
"Goodnight my lovies." I whisper and kiss there foreheads once again. I soon fall into sleepiness myself.
