We all step outside of the car and I see the guy from the drug store waiting outside. I walk up to then and I see Layla's eyes go huge.

"What's wrong Layla?" I ask quietly.

"N-nothing." She says clearly lying but I let it side.

"Hi. I'm Riker that's my husband Ross and our daughter Layla." I say shaking the guys hand from the drug store.

"Hey I'm Colt and that's my husband Ryan. These are our children Zachary and Tori." The guy introduces.

I smile and look over at Layla. She's looking down to the ground the whole time we introduce each other. I make a conversation with Ryan an I see Colt going over to Layla. I can hear the conversation.

"Hey sweetheart what's wrong? You don't like me?" Colt asks sweetly.

"N-no I do like you. It's just that. Zachary and Tori go to school with me."

"What's wrong about that?"

"N-nothing." She stutters. Something's up with her.

"Alright." Colt says and comes back over to Ryan's side and grabs his hand.

"Excuse me." I say politely walking over to Layla.

"Layla? What's the matter now?"

"I'm okay. Can we just get this over with?"

"What's the rush? We've got all night."

"Dad please just let it be."

"Fine. Go make new friends with Zachary and Tori."

"No."

"Don't be shy Layla."

"No dad."

"Attitude check missy." I say sternly. "Why won't you go near them?"

"Don't make a big deal about it okay? I'll tell you just don't over react."

"I'll try not to."

"Okay well Zachary is the one who bullies me about my parents being dads."

"What?" I yell shocked. That causes everyone to look over at us.

"Dad just let it be. I'll just hang around you and dad. Please."

"Alright baby girl but I am gonna talk to them about it. His parents are no different than yours."

"I know. I don't get it either."

"Alight lets get back over there." I say wrapping my arm around her shoulders and kissing her forehead. She smiles up at me and I smile down at her. 'I love you.' She mouths because we are closer to everyone. 'I love you to baby girl.' I mouth back and she smiles bigger.

We reach the others and we all head inside.

"Layla? Why don't you Tori and Zachary sit at your own table together so you can get to know each other." Ryan says happy.

"N-no I'm okay. I wanna be with my dads."

"Alright sweetie." He says understandingly. I mouth 'thanks' to him and he nods his head with a smile.

We all sit down in a booth. Zachary and Tori sit in the next booth over which I'm okay with. Ryan and Colt sit together. Then it goes Ross, Layla, me in our booth.

We order our food and the waiter leaves.

"Ryan, Colt I've got something to tell you."

"Okay? What is it Rik?"
