(The rouges)
Variel POV
I am packing all the cloths that I can fit into my school bag, which isn't much. My room had been trashed too so I had to try find any cloths that weren't torn up. My cheeks and eyes were still red and puffy from crying about my mother. Miley had told me that Darius didn't think she was dead, and that as soon as we got back to his pack, he would be searching for her. Apparently I am just the priority right now.
"Variel? We have to go now, you got everything you need?" Miley asked me quietly. I was still a little shocked about the whole werewolves thing and that she is one. It all seemed so impossible.
I wipe at my face as I zip up my bag. "Umm, yea thanks Miley, I just gotta grab something, meet you downstairs."
She nods and leaves my room. I stand up and sling my bag over my shoulder. I had changed into a different outfit, and now I was looking for the neclace that my mum had given me. It was expensive and I didn't know how she had gotten it, but I had always kept it safe. It has a gold swirl pattern around a pearl, making it look something like a sun.
I quickly put it on and rush down stairs to where Darius was standing with Noah.
"I'm ready to go."
He turns to me and nods. He then uses that communication that he has with the other wolves and they all come running, including Miley who had shifted back.
He nods to them and they turn and begin to sprint away.
"How am I meant to keep up with you all?" I ask him. He grins.
"Turn around."
I do as he says and a moment later I feel a cold snout at the back of my head, that is how big the wolf was that was behind me. I turn around and I giggle like a little girl. Noah steps forward.
"You will travel with Darius." He pauses as he gives Darius a look. "And.... He says not to pull out his fur."
I smirk. Noah helps me up and before I can get a grip, Darius leaps, causing me to loose my balance momentarily. I squeal a little as I lean forward and grab on to his scruff.
I close my eyes as I begin to feel a little sick seeing as the ground was moving so quickly underneath me. I had ridden a horse before, and at the time I had been terrified, but right now I would take horse riding over this any day. I risk opening my eyes again to see that we have reached the woods where we were before. I quickly glance back to see Noah in wolf form chasing after us. His eyes twinkle with amusement at my expression and I roll my eyes playfully as I look forward once again, to see the wolves that took off before us. They seemed to have stopped.
Darius quickly comes to a halt as he looks around at the wolves, communicating. I didn't know what was going on so I hopped of Darius and went to stand next to Noah, who was only slightly smaller than Darius but still bigger than the other wolves.
I scratch his ear and he seems to lean into it and I let out a low chuckle. I walk forward again to stand by Darius who was looking very agitated. I look up through the trees and I see why. Other wolves. 4 of them.
Darius nudges me back and that's when I understand that these wolves were not friendly. I hurry back to where Noah was. His hackles were raised and he was growling quietly.
Who are those wolves? And what do they want?

Darius POV
This is just what I need, Rouges. What do they want. If they want a fight, we can take them, we have 2 more wolves than they do.
Noah: Darius? What should we do? You don't think...
Noah lets the sentence hang in my mind, I know what he means. These rouges could have been the ones who had taken Zane, not Blood Moon Pack, and they could now know about Variel, leading them to attack her mother. She is valuble, being the new found Alphas half sister.
Miley steps forward to talk to them, I stay in front of Variel while Noah stays beside her, the tension is extremely high and one wrong move could result in a fight. I try to keep calm. I can't decide on whether or not if they know Variel is here. If not, it won't be long...
The wolf that seems to be the leader comes forward. His scent is strong and his eyes show intelligence and strength, even though he isn't the biggest wolf there. Miley confronts him. The other rouges look like they could attack at any moment so I call to Vince.
Me: Vince, stay in front of Variel, she is our priority. Protect her.
Vince: Yes Alpha.
I walk forward as Vince takes my place. I walk slowly towards the other Alpha, who is only as large as Miley. I look down at him and he recognizes me as an Alpha.
I let out a low growl. "What is your business here rouge? We have somewhere to be and you are in the way."
Even though I tower over him, his gaze doesn't waver.
"I'm guessing you are the Alpha?" He says as he looks me up and down. I can feel my hackles rising and I show my teeth. One of the other rouges, the large gray one growls as the others glare.
"You guessed correctly. What is your business here." My question comes out more like a command but instead the wolf takes a step forward, getting up in my face.
"Since you are the Alpha I must ask you, why is there a human with you?"
I can feel my temper rising and I hold the urge to rip into this pups neck. Miley speaks for me.
"That is none of your concern. However, you are blocking where we need to go, so we will ask one more time before we attack you. What is your business here."
I laugh on the inside at her bluntness. I tend to forget she was the daughter of an Alpha.
The Alpha glances at the large grey behind him and acting on instinct I leap at the latter, just as he leaps forward to run to Variel.
Hazel, Brad and Amy attack the rouges alongside Miley.
The grey is strong. I wrestle with him and bite into his leg and he lets out a howl of pain. He ducks under my attack and rushes to my stomach knocking me onto my back. I flip myself over and go to bite him again only to find him and the other Alpha speeding towards where Variel is with Noah and Vince. I know Noah and Vince are good fighters, but I can't risk it. I quickly communicate with Miley.
Me: The Alpha and the grey are heading to Variel I will cut them off. Hold those other two back at all costs, don't release them.
I charge over to where Noah is wrestling the Alpha, and I hate to admit but he was a good fighter. Vince had tackled the grey and had him under control so I look for Variel.
She had sprinted over to a hollow log and had hid inside. I go to get her but another howl cuts me off.
My heart stops as I see who had howled. It was Noah. I rush at the Alpha and leap onto his back and my rage drives me further than I need to. I bite into his fur above his head and force my jaws close, snapping his neck. His attempts to shake me off stop and I drop him as he goes limp.
I notice that Vince had chased they grey off and was now retrieving Variel. I turn around.
No.
I have caught sight of Noah. His legs are stretched out in mid leap and his snout is still in a snarl. There is a pool of blood around his neck and his eyes are misty.
Noah is dead.
