'You okay?' Wilmer asks smiling as Demi gently squeezes his hand as they walk into the large store. Glancing up at him, she can't help but smile and nod her head.
'Mmm... This all just seems so surreal. I didn't get to do all this with Ella. Everything I had for her was second-hand because I was so young and couldn't afford anything brand new.' Demi admits as she rests her hand on her stomach causing Wilmer to smile.
'Well you don't have to worry about that now.' He says pulling her closer to him and kissing the top of her head.
'I do love you.' She mumbles leaning against his side.
'I love you too... Did you have a look online at strollers? See any that you like?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.
'I looked at a few but I don't think that you can really decide just online. I just- I want something that's practical and that I'll be able to just pop the carseat onto when I'm taking Els to school.' She replies as they walk towards the stroller section.
'Okay. What did you have with Ella?' He asks.
'Ugh it was just like a stroller and a carseat. There was no bassinet and the stroller faced outwards all the time; it was the only thing I could afford though so it was fine but I hated having her facing away from me.' She replies.
'Well you can get whatever you want this time, nena.' He says smiling.
'I can't believe that in like six weeks we're going to have a baby... I swore after Ella I'd never have another child.' She admits glancing down at her stomach.
'This time is different, nena... I'm here; I promise you're not going through this on your own. I am going to be right by your side as we welcome that little girl into the world.' He says causing her to smile.
'I know.' She replies quietly.
'So do you think Ella will feel jealous at all? She's been the only one for so long.' Wilmer says causing Demi to sigh.
'I don't even know. I'd hate for her to feel left out; I want to buy her a little present from the baby just so that she can feel a bit included and like the baby has brought her something.' She replies.
'I think that sounds like a great idea.' He says.

five weeks later.
'Hi, sweetheart...' Demi says smiling as Wilmer makes his way through the door with five-year-old Ella by his side.
'Oh we need to watch, baby... Mommy's got a bit of a sore tummy.' Demi says softly as Wilmer helps Ella onto the bed beside Demi.
'What happened?' Ella asks as Demi wraps her arms around her and pulls her against her side.
'They had to bring your baby sister out of my tummy but it's okay; I'll feel better soon.' Demi replies watching as Ella tilts her head to the side.
'Will you get to come home?' Ella asks glancing up at Demi who shakes her head.
'Not tonight, Els. Maybe on Friday when my tummy is a bit better though.' Demi replies smiling.
'Does it hurt?' Ella asks.
'It does a bit but not too much. Would you like to meet your baby sister?' Demi asks kissing the top of Ella's head.
'Yes please, mommy.' Ella replies grinning. Carefully Wilmer lifts the little girl into his arms and carries her over to the bed.
'Ella; this is your little sister, Myla.' Wilmer says softly as he bends down in front of Ella.
'She's so little, mommy.' Ella almost whispers as she hesitantly reaches her hand out towards the baby causing Demi to smile.
'You can touch her, baby... In fact why don't you sit up at the pillows and you can hold her?' Demi suggests as Ella gasps.
'Really, mommy? I can hold her?' Ella asks and Demi nods her head.
'Of course you can, sweetheart.' Demi replies. She helps Ella get situated before Wilmer carefully places Myla in her arms.
'What do you think, Ella?' Demi asks smiling.
'She's so pretty, mommy... Pretty and small.' Ella replies and Demi nods her head.
'Mommy remembers when you were that tiny, Ella. You used to fit in mommy's arms like a little doll and now you're such a big girl.' Demi says sighing slightly as tears fill her eyes. She smiles slightly as Wilmer places his hand on her shoulder and kisses the top of her head.
'You okay?' He asks and she nods her head.
'Couldn't be better... Just emotional.' She replies.
