And when she wraps her hand around my finger, oh it puts a smile in my heart. Everything becomes a little clearer, I realize what life is all about. It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough, it's giving more when you feel like giving up. I've seen the light it's in my daugter's eyes.
It's been just over three years since she sat in this room watching everyone else have what she so badly wanted. She remembers the ache in her heart as she longed for a baby of her own, the feeling that she'd never have her own little person that called her mommy. She never would've imagined that this would be her life now. Sitting on the sofa, she glances over at Nick who is sitting on the chair opposite her with their little miracle baby curled up on his knee. Smiling, she nods her head slightly and watches as he adjusts his arms around Olive.
'Guys, can I have your attention?' Nick asks causing his family to stop what they're doing and turn to face him.
'I just wanted to thank you all. The past four years haven't been easy and as Demi and I approach our five year wedding anniversary I can't help but feel so incredibly grateful for all your support. Throughout our difficulties conceiving to our IVF journey which brought us our little Olive, you have all been here. You lifted us up when things seemed hopeless and when our little Olive made it into this world safely, you were all there in the waiting room like our own personal cheerleaders.' Nick says glancing at Demi who can't help but smile.
'I honestly don't know what we would've done without you all and we thought tonight would be the perfect time to let you all know that Olive is going to be a big sister!' Nick says causing his mom to shake her head as Danielle and Sophie squeal.
'Are you serious?' Denise asks looking at Demi who nods her head.
'I'm sixteen weeks along.' Demi replies placing her hand on her stomach.
'Oh my goodness... We didn't know that you guys were going IVF again.' Denise says instantly moving to hug Demi.
'We weren't. This baby was a beautiful little surprise to us both. We were considering starting IVF in January again but this little one had other ideas.' Demi replies smiling.
'That's absolutely amazing! I'm so, so happy for you both. So happy.' Denise says kissing the top of Demi's head.

'How have you been feeling?' Sophie asks sitting down beside Demi and passing her a bottle of water.
'Good, really good actually. My morning sickness hasn't been nearly as bad this time, I have had a ton of headaches though.' Demi replies smiling.
'Do you guys know what you're having?' Danielle asks and Demi shakes her head.
'No, I don't think we're going to find out this time. We've spoke about it quite a bit and I think we'd like it to be a surprise.' Demi replies.
'I can't believe you're having another baby! Have you told your family yet?' Sophie asks and Demi nods her head.
'We told them the day before we came here because we knew we were going to tell you guys whilst we were here and I think we're going to announce it at some point this week.' Demi replies glancing over at Nick who is cradling a sleeping Olive in his arms.
'Have you guys thought of names yet? Are you going to go for something a bit unusual like Olive?' Danielle asks and Demi nods her head.
'We've thought of a few; I really like unusual names that have something to do with nature like Oak or Oakley, Skyla and Willow but we've not decided on anything yet.' Demi replies.
'Oh I like Oak... For a boy or girl?' Sophie asks.
'Boy, I think. I don't know; we might just pick out a few of our favourites and then decided when he or she is born.' Demi replies resting her hand on her stomach.
'Olive is going to be the best big sister.' Sophie says and Demi nods her head.
'I just can't believe we didn't have to go through IVF again. I only took a pregnancy test to prove to Nick that I wasn't pregnant and when it came back positive I was so, so shocked. I ended up taking fifteen pregnancy tests that one day.' Demi replies as Sophie and Danielle smile.
'You and Nick have been through so much. I couldn't be more happy for you both and little Olive.' Sophie says.
