Piece by piece I fell far from the tree. I will never leave her like you left me and she will never have to wonder her worth because unlike you I'm going to put her first. And you know, he'll never walk away, he'll never break her heart. He'll take care of things, he'll love her. And piece by piece he'll restore my faith that a man can be kind and a father should be great.
'Was she good?' Demi asks as she makes her way into her parents' house to be greeted by the sound of squeals coming from the garden.
'Mmm... When is she ever not good for her nana.' Dianna replies smiling.
'What did you guys get up to? Did you go out?' Demi asks and Dianna shakes her head.
'No. Dallas dropped Jayden and Harrison off so we ended up making cookies and done some crafting.' Dianna replies causing Demi to smile.
'Are Jayden and Harrison still here?' Demi asks.
'Mmhmm. They're out back playing with Maddie.' Dianna replies.
'So I'm going to have trouble getting her to leave then?' Demi says and Dianna laughs. They make their way out into the garden and Demi can't help but smile as she watches four-year-old Indiana helping Madison push Harrison on the swing.
'Indi.' Demi shouts causing her to instantly spin around.
'Momma!' Indiana says and instantly runs towards Demi who bends down and wraps her arms around the little girl.
'Hi, sweetie... Mommy missed you so much today!' Demi almost whispers.
'Missed you to, momma. Where you go?' Indiana asks.
'I went somewhere special but daddy and I will tell you all about that when we get home. Can you say bye to Auntie Madison and your cousins for me?' Demi asks and Indiana nods her head before rushing back to Madison.
'Everything go okay then?' Dianna asks and Demi nods her head.
'Yeah, everything is fine.' Demi replies smiling.
________
'Do you remember what you asked Santa for at Christmas?' Demi asks softly as she glances at Indiana who is curled into Wilmer's side.
'A puppy?' Indiana replies causing Demi to smile.
'You did ask for a puppy and Santa brought you pippen, didn't he?' Demi says and Indiana nods her head.
'What else did you ask Santa for?' Wilmer asks.
'A baby like Harrison?' Indiana replies and Demi nods her head.
'Well what would you think if I told you that mommy has a baby in her tummy?' Demi says watching as Indiana's eyes light up.
'Really? A proper baby?' Indiana asks and Demi smiles.
'A little brother or sister for you. Today mommy and daddy went to the hospital to make sure everything was okay with the baby.' Demi replies.
'Really, mommy? I'm getting a baby?' Indiana asks and Demi nods her head.
'You are.' Demi replies.
'Oh, mommy! When will baby get here?' Indiana asks.
'Not for a while yet. He or she still needs to grow big and strong.' Demi explains placing her hand on her stomach.
'Can I feel?' Indiana asks and Demi nods her head.
'You can. There isn't much to feel just yet.' Demi replies smiling as Indiana moves away from Wilmer and stretches her arm out to place her hand on Demi's stomach.
'Doesn't look like there is a baby in there.' Indiana says as Wilmer laughs.
'That's because they're still tiny. Once the baby starts growing bigger then mommy's tummy will get bigger and you'll be able to feel the baby moving.' Wilmer replies as Indiana raises her eyebrows.
'Moving in mommy's tummy?' Indiana asks and Wilmer nods his head.
'Yeah, daddy used to feel you all the time!' Wilmer replies placing his hand on top of Indiana's.
'Will you still love me, daddy?' Indiana asks.
'Of course I will, Indi. You'll always be my little princess!' Wilmer replies kissing the top of Indiana's head.

ddlovato : I love the way he loves her... When I found out that we were having a baby girl my thoughts instantly went to the relationship I so badly wanted with my father. From the minute Indi was placed in Wilmer's arms, I knew she was going to be the biggest daddy's girl around. Her first word was dada, he's the first person she wants to see in the morning or when she gets home, her little eyes light up when he walks in the room and words cannot describe how happy that makes me. To see their relationship grow and develop has been one of the best things I have witnessed over the past four years... I love you wilmervalderrama and I love the way you love our daughter.
