I quickly hugged Gracy and mom goodnight. I ran upstairs before the rude Ronny saw me.

"I see you, Esme. Goodnight," Ronny said as he came over to hug me.

I ran away to my room before he hugged me. I went right to my small purple, blue, and pink bed with humongous fluffy pillows.

I was going to turn on the television, but I noticed it was 9:45p.m, and all that was on today at this time was a weird show called; "The Hillbillies," so I decided to write a new story.

MY STORY!

Dear Vampire Diary-by Esme Stevens

Dear Vampire Diary,

Today I saw my worst Nightmare. My brother. Guess what he was? A vampire. My brother was a nice vampire, until these evil vampires tried to kill me and he hardly fought for me, and he said he'd fight really hard if they tried to hurt me, but no, he hardly fought. Luckily, I'm alive, but I'm very mad.

Who wouldn't be mad if their brother almost killed them by not trying to fight well? He said he fights extremely well. Yeah, if your sister was getting hurt wouldn't you fight as good as possible? He hardly tried, it seemed. At least he sucked out the venom before I died. My brother. How will I ever forgive him for that horrible thing he did?

Someone was knocking at my door. It may be my brother. We'll find out, she wrote as she put away her notebook and opened the door.

"Oh, it's you," I said angrily after I opened the door.

"I heard paper. Were you writing a story?"asked Ronny.

"How did you know I was writing a story?"asked Esme.

"You always used to write stories," said Ronny.

"Can I read it?" asked Ronny eagerly.

"No, you can't," said Esme.

"Please," Ronny begged.

"Fine, I'll let you read it," said Esme.

She handed him her five subject notebook she used for stories ever since age six when her mom Carli bought it for her birthday.

She turned to the first page of her new story and he began to read it. He read silently and then dropped the notebook on the ground, not even willing to pick it up.

"You know I came here to see you, but what's the point. You hate me, and I could possibly kill you. I'm dangerous and I don't protect you, just like you say. I'm sorry, but I'm leaving. Think of something to tell mom. Hope you won't get hurt by those evil vampires. Oh, wait. You won't because you're really strong!" Ronny shouted as he ran downstairs.

A second later, Esme heard the front door slam.

"What did I do?" Esme whispered to herself.

She looked out the window and it started to thunder. From her window, she saw her brother sitting on the front porch crying his eyes out. She started to cry also. She washed off her tears and ran outside onto the front porch. By the time she opened the front door, Ronny was gone. She began to walk inside when she saw a note under the door. She took out the note that read:

Dear Esme,

I'm so, so sorry. I didn't tell you, but probably the reason why I didn't fight as well was because they tried to kill me before they saw you. I know I didn't look hurt, but I was really in pain. I'm not lying. Of course, I walked and ran fine, but I'm a vampire. It was easy to do stuff like that, but the problem was I felt very sore. I know I didn't tell you. I was dumb. You probably don't believe me, but you will because I always tell the truth when I say this:

I swear to you, Esme. I got hurt badly and was very sore, and it was very hard to fight. You need to remember that this was only once they've hurt me, before I hurt them. The reason why I didn't tell you was probably because I was trying to act tough. Dumb, too. I'm sorry, Esme. Will you forgive me?
