Chapter 34 - Party time!

We put on our shoes and jackets and went into the limo.

"I can't wait till the party," said Esme.

"I know," said Bailey and Ellen excitedly.

"Dad, can you turn around?" asked Esme.

"Why?" he asked.

"I forgot the guest list," said Esme.

"Okay," he said as he drove back.

When we got to the house, I went inside and got the guest list off of the table. I went back outside and went into the limo.

"I can't believe I forgot it," I said to myself.

When we got to Danielle's house, we got out of the limo and went inside.

"Esme, you're going to check off people's names as they come to the door," said Danielle.

"Okay," said Esme as she started walking outside.

"Esme, you don't have to start yet," said Danielle.

"Okay," said Esme as she went back inside.

"Hi," said Esme.

"Hi," replied Danielle.

"I'm so excited," said Danielle.

"You should be," said Esme.

"Knock, Knock!"

"Esme, get the door!" shouted Danielle.

I opened the door and saw Eric.

"Hi, Esme," said Eric.

"Hi," said Esme as she checked his name off the list.

"Whoa, this party is awesome. I love the disco lights," said Eric.

"Thank you," said Danielle.

She saw Tawni and Leona coming to the door so she checked off their names.

"Hi," said Esme.

"Hi," said Tawni and Leona angrily.

"Whose limo was that?" asked Tawni.

"Mine," said Esme.

"I told you we should've brought a limo," said Tawni.

"You said nothing about a limo," said Leona as they walked inside.

A couple minutes later, she saw Katie and Erin coming to the door, so she checked off their names.

"Hi," said Esme.

Katie and Erin walked inside ignoring Esme. They must've been friends with Tawni. Soon, everyone arrived and Esme was finally done checking off people's names. Esme walked inside and heard the song Party in the U.S.A on.

"I love this song!" shouted the girls while the boys kept talking about how much they hated the song. It was funny.

"Hi," said Danielle.

"Hi, it seems like the people are enjoying the party," said Esme.

"Yeah, the party's going great," said Danielle.

She started to dance to the song. She danced pretty well. I walked over to the table for some punch, and started to drink it.

"Grrr!" shouted Conner and Seth as they walked over to me.

I got scared and spilt the punch all over myself. They started walking away pretending that nothing happened.

"Hi," said Eric as he walked over to me.

"Hi," I said angrily.

"What's wrong?" asked Eric.

"Conner and Seth spilled punch all over me," said Esme.

"They did?"

"Well, they scared me and I spilt the punch all over myself," said Esme.

"I don't see any punch. It blends in with your costume," said Eric.

"Yeah, it does, but the only light is from the disco light, so it's hard to tell," said Esme.

"I'm going to wash off the punch," said Esme.

"Okay," said Eric.

After she washed off the punch, she went back into the room where the party was held.

"Where were you?" asked Danielle.

"I was cleaning punch off my costume," said Esme.

"Well, it would've blended in, so it probably wasn't too embarrassing," said Danielle.

"Yeah, it wasn't really embarrassing, but it was annoying," said Esme.

"Ooh, my favorite song is on!" shouted Esme as she started to dance.

The song was 3 by Brittany Spears. The party was so much fun.
