When we finally came out of the car, we felt the sun beating against our skin with the nice, chilly breeze blowing with our hair.

While I was about to view the beach, Ronny came over and whispered in my ear, "If vampires stay out of the water during sundown, our skin gets extremely shiny and our secret can be revealed."

"Your skin gets shiny," said Esme laughing.

"It's weird, but that's how it is," said Ronny.

"Just remember when it hits sundown, to stay in the water," said Esme.

"Okay," said Ronny.

The sand had no insects or broken shells. The best part was when you put your hand through the sand; it feels so soft and slides right through your hands.

Their sand was great, definitely compared to the last beach I went to. It had tons of bugs in the sand and I got tons of cuts from the seashells. It was horrible. My favorite part of the beach was the ocean. It was surprisingly clean compared to most oceans.

Besides swimming, I love getting suntans or looking at the sunset. Sometimes we used to go twenty minutes before the sunset, but today we went earlier so we could have more family fun.

Right when we got to the beach, we sat in one spot that felt reserved because every time we come here, we sit in the same exact place. We laid down the pool towel to sit on and we placed the picnic basket with hardly any more stuff in it to go on top of it. Ronny quickly ran to the water and swam down into the ocean, but only as far as humans would swim. I didn't suspect that. I decided to go into the ocean. First, I floated on my back for five minutes. The water was so warm. Instead of a hot tub, I guess you could call it a warm tub. I swam and swam and it felt like forever, but it was only a few minutes.

When I got out of the ocean, I gave myself a suntan. I put on suntan lotion and laid down on lounge chair that my mom and dad took out of the limo. My parents and I laid on our lime green lounge chairs and got a suntan.

"Did you like the view from the limo better than the ride?" asked dad.

"Yes, but isn't it a little weird riding to a beach with a limo?" replied Esme.

"Yes, but it's cool," said dad.

"After we got the gas for the car, I felt like a movie star in my first limo ride," I said.

"It was your first limo ride. That's really cool. Don't worry; the ride will be better on the way home," said dad.

Thirty minutes later, we all got our tan.

"Dad, take off your sunglasses," said Esme.

He took them off and around his eyes was all white. We started to laugh.

"It's not funny," said dad.

"Only if we had a mirror," said Rosalie.

After I got a tan, my parents and I walked on the boardwalk to get food while Ronny stayed to swim. On the boardwalk, we got nachos and cheese and coke for each of us.

When we got back to the beach, my mom gave me twenty dollars.

"Give the other twenty to Ronny when he's done swimming. You can use the money to buy something at the boardwalk," said Rosalie.

I ate the nachos and cheese which had three different types of cheese. It was my favorite snack. Ronny came out of the water for a little while to eat the nachos and cheese, and soon went back in the ocean. He must love to swim.
