Chapter 32 - The party!

The next day was Danielle's Halloween party! They woke up, got dressed, and ate their breakfast. Esme called Danielle and asked if she wanted to come over to hang out before the party. She said yes and everyone was so excited to meet her.

"Knock, Knock! Who's there?" yelled Gracy as she ran to the door.

"Danielle. Danielle Who?"

"Danielle let me in," said Danielle.

"Okay," said Gracy as she opened the door.

"Hi, Gracy! How are you?"

"Good, how was your party?" asked Gracy.

"I didn't have it yet," said Danielle.

"Happy Birthday," said Gracy.

"It's not my birthday," said Danielle.

"You're just having a party for gifts. How rude!" said Gracy.

"No, for Halloween," said Danielle.

"Oopsies," said Gracy.

Danielle began to laugh.

Esme said hello and introduced Danielle to all the vampires.

"Hello, I'm Danielle," she said.

We listened to music on YouTube, but it was kind of boring because she couldn't stay long because she had to get ready for her party.

Last week when we started setting up for the party, I made the guest list, Ellen decorated for the party, Seth bought the food, Ronny called people from the guest list to see if they could come, and Danielle's mom hired a D.J. It was hard work.

We were already ready for the party, and couldn't think of anything to do. I decided to paint my nails. I painted them red because I'm little red riding hood.

"What are we going to do?" the vampires asked.

"Conner, you clean Ronny's room. Ronny, you clean my room. Everyone else help them. It sounds like fun, doesn't it?" asked Esme.

"No thanks," they said.

"No, really, what are we going to do?" the vampires asked.

"How about you ask Dean if you can read his story?" asked Esme.

"Okay," said the vampires as they ran up the steps.

I painted my nails and painted a second coat and then a clear coat. After I painted my nails, I called Danielle to see how she was doing.

"Hi," said Esme.

"Hi, Esme, make sure you bring the guest list, so no one will sneak in," said Danielle.

"Okay," said Esme.

"What did you want to tell me?" asked Danielle.

"Nothing, really. I'm just so bored," said Esme.

"You'll find something to do," said Danielle.

"I'll try," said Esme.

"Bye," said Danielle.

"Bye," Esme replied.
