Chapter 45 - Poor Jim.

"Is Jim here?" asked Esme.

"Oh, yeah. He's upstairs," said Rosalie.

I walked upstairs to talk to Jim.

"How are you feeling?" I asked Jim.

"Tell dad to bring me to the hospital," said Jim nervously.

"Dad!" shouted Esme as she ran down the steps.

"What?" asked dad.

"Jim said that you need to bring him to the hospital," said Esme.

"Poor Jim," said Rosalie.

Dad went upstairs to get Jim and they went into the limo.

"What about us?" shouted Rosalie and Esme as they started driving away.

The vampires followed us inside.

"Hi," said Ronny.

Rosalie screamed.

"Sorry, you scared me. I didn't know you were behind me," said Rosalie.

"Where is Jim going?" asked the vampires.

"He's going to the hospital," said Esme.

"Is he going to be okay?" asked Ellen.

"Let's hope so," said Rosalie.

Bailey and I went up to my bedroom, but neither of us could fall asleep because we were worried about Jim. We heard Ellen crying from all the way downstairs. Bailey and I were playing Jenga. I took out a block. It was a dare block. Sing the National anthem while dancing like a chicken.

"Do I have to?" asked Esme.

I started doing the dare.

"Oh, this is too hilarious," said Bailey laughing.

"You just snorted," said Esme.

"Hey, you weren't done," said Bailey.

"Oh, well," said Esme.

Bailey took out a truth block.

"What's your biggest fear?"

"Well, you know how people go through rings of fire?" asked Bailey.

"Yeah," said Esme.

"If I had to do that, that would be my biggest fear," Bailey replied.

"I'm tired," said Esme yawning.

"We should get to bed," said Esme.

"What about Jim?" asked Bailey.

"He will be okay," said Esme.

We put away the game and tried to fall asleep.

"I can't sleep," said Bailey.

"Me neither," said Esme.

"We'll try," said Bailey.

Bailey and I tried our best to fall asleep and soon we did.
