Chapter 43 - The vision comes true.

"Esme, you should start getting ready," said Bailey.

"Okay," said Esme as she went into the bathroom.

"Wow, you look beautiful!" said Bailey when she walked out of the bathroom. "Go into the kitchen. I don't want Conner to see your dress."

I walked into the kitchen. Bailey had Conner get ready and then she walked into the kitchen to talk to me.

"Hi," said Bailey.

"Hi," said Esme.

"I love that dress," said Bailey.

"You have a good style," said Esme.

"Thank you!" said Bailey.

I wore the dress with the necklace and earrings including turquoise high heels. My hair was sort of like a bun, but it wasn't. It's hard to explain. It looked like it was prom night. Tonight was really different. Bailey drove the limo, instead of dad. Conner wore a tux and black shoes. We both had really good outfits. We got to George's pizza restaurant and sat at a booth.

"Hi, here's your menu's," said the waitress.

"Thank you," we said.

"What are you ordering?" asked Conner.

"I'll have a steak and cheese hoagie," said Esme.

"What are you going to order? ...Oh, right. You can't have anything," said Esme.

"I wonder why we went here. A place with food," said Esme.

"I don't know," said Esme.

"What will you like?" asked the waitress.

"A steak and cheese hoagie with 7up, please,"said Esme.

"What will you like?" she asked Conner.

"Nothing," he answered.

"Are you sure?" asked the waitress.

"Yes," said Conner.

"It will be ready in a few minutes," said the waitress as she left the table.

In a few minutes, a different waitress came back with a steak and cheese hoagie.

"Thank you!" I said.

"Are you sure you don't want anything to eat?"asked the waitress.

"Yes," said Conner.

I tried a piece of the steak and cheese hoagie.

"How does it taste?" asked Conner.

"It tastes horrible, but the 7up's fine," said Esme.

"Waitress!" shouted Conner.

He paid for the meal and didn't add any tips because the meal was that bad.We went outside and looked at all the stores and talked. It was fun, sort of.

"Ring, Ring!"

"Hello," said Esme.

"Can you pick us up?" asked Esme.

"Sure," said Bailey.
