Chapter 20-Traveling in the forest.

Ronny and I decided to go travel in the forest. I haven't seen many people travel there before. We walked around the trail for a while. We were going to walk the trail longer, but we heard a sound that sounded like a vampire. So we walked back, and we heard even more sounds. The sounds were getting louder and louder. Ronny turned around and walked the other way.

"Ronny, I'm not following you. The vampires are there," said Esme.

"You don't have to. I don't want you getting hurt," said Ronny.

He walked and walked and finally saw three vampires, four bears, and two werewolves. The three vampires weren't evil, and neither were the animals, it seemed, so he called Esme to come to the spot of the forest he was in.

"Hi, who are they?" asked Esme.

"I just met them," said Ronny. "Let's see if I remember your names. Jamie, Kailee, and Rick are your names, right?" asked Ronny.

"Yes," they replied.

"Hi, I'm Esme. It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too," said Kailee, Jamie, and Rick.

"Look at those wolves and bears, aren't they cute?" asked Esme.

"Yes," said Ronny.

"You must be a new vampire, aren't you?" the vampires asked Ronny.

"Yes, why?"

"Bears and wolves are enemies. They're actually werewolves," said Jamie.

"It's just like twilight, except bears are our enemy's too," said Ronny.

All of a sudden, the werewolves jumped down from a hill and ran towards us, and the bears started running towards us. We didn't know what to do. If we stand still, the bears won't hurt us, and if we stand still, the werewolves will hurt us.

"Which animal hurts worse? asked Esme worried.

"Werewolves hurt worse," said Kailee.

"So let's run," said Esme a second before the werewolves almost jumped on top of us.

We ran and ran and the werewolves and bears kept chasing after us. We didn't stop running. We didn't give up. We ran the fastest we ever had. The werewolves and bears got closer and closer. All of a sudden, a werewolf jumped above Kailee and a bear jumped above Rick.

Oh, no! What was going to happen?

Jamie stood there in shock and I ran the other way where the animals weren't. I didn't know where Ronny and Jamie were, but I kept on running not knowing if the animals were behind me.

As I ran, I began hearing the animals. I had no idea where Ronny and Jamie were. Without them there, there was no possible way I wouldn't get hurt. The werewolf was right above my head and about to hurt me.

I jumped up and kicked the werewolf right in the stomach. He pushed me face first on the ground. The werewolf ran off into the other end of the forest and all of a sudden I saw a bear out of the corner of my eye. I grew very scared. Then, the bear ran off not even noticing I was there. Oh, duh, if you stay still they don't notice you because of their eyesight, so they won't hurt you. Why was I so scared?

I saw Ronny and Jamie walking towards me holding Kailee and Rick. Jamie held Kailee and Ronny held Rick. I felt so bad for Kailee and Rick. They were probably hurt very bad.

"What happened?" Ronny asked me as he saw me lying on the ground.

"A werewolf was chasing me, and it was about to fall on me, so I got up and kicked it in the stomach, so it pushed me face first on the ground," I said in pain.

He held out his hand and I held on to it and pushed myself off the ground. I started to limp out of the forest. At least, what happened to Kailee and Rick didn't happen to me. I was lucky.
