Gabe's POV:
Not too long after AJ said he was hungry, we made it to the boarding school Clem was talking about. "Well here we are guys. We're home." She said as she open the door for me and AJ to go in. As soon as we got in I felt an arrow almost hit my head but just barely missed and hit the wall. "Whoa holy shit! What the hell was that?!" I asked in a panic. "Goddamnit Marlon! What did I tell you about shooting before you check who it is?!" Clem yelled out as they're in from outside of one of the doors I saw this boy who looks about my age with a weird blonde Mohawk appear. "Well last time I checked, you weren't responsible or in charge of my actions were you, Clementine?!" Marlon said with attitude. "You know what you're right. It's not like I'm your fucking leader or anything. But whatever, you can bring a tent to be our shoot first ask questions never piece of shit asshole like you always are OK sound good to you?!" Clem yelled out in sarcasm. Marlon just rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever".
"OK everyone gather around the center we have a new member that will join our group." Clem yelled out as I saw three other kids appear from doorways. I then saw a young blonde haired girl, a young kid that looks around AJ's age with half of his face burnt, And a black guy in a long coat who was looking at Clem in a weird way. "OK everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Gabe Garcia." Clem introduced me. "So Gabe, this is Marlon, our resident archer and certified pain in the ass." She said as Marlon just gave me a passive aggressive look. "This guy over here is Louis. He's kind of a nostalgic person. He'll of stuff from the old world so just keep that in mind." She says as Louis gives me a wave and says, "What's up brotha?" "Now this is Violet. She's kind of like me except she might be even more badass." She said. "Oh come on like thats even possible. We all know that you're the most bad ass person alive Clementine." I flirted as I then saw a little blush come from her. "Yeah Clem, you're one badass motherfucker. You could whoop my ass any day." Louis rephrase my statement. "And finally this little guy's name is Ten. He's kind of AJ's best friend so you'll most likely see AJ playing around with him." Clem concludes as Ten gives me a little wave and I wave back.
"So now that you all know each other, I think it's about time we show Gabe his room here."Clementine said as she was about to escort me upstairs until Marlon stepped forward. "So just like that he's just automatically one of us? That seems like some biased bullshit to me!" Marlin argued as I could tell Clem was starting to get angry. "I am your leader and what I say goes goddamnit." Clem argued back. "Just because you're our leader doesn't mean we don't get a say in any of our situations or decisions. I think it would only be fair if we all took a vote whether not we should accept this dumbass into our fucking group." Marlon snapped as I started to get angry by his name calling. "Who are you calling dumbass, ghetto Garth from Wayne's world." I snapped back. " OK you two. Calm the hell down." Clem calmed us. "You know, maybe Marlon's right. Maybe we should put this to a vote you know to make it democratic." Violet suggested.
"OK, if that'll make you feel better fine. Raise your hand if you think Gabe should be accepted into the group." Clem stated. I then see Ten, Louis, Violet, AJ, and of course Clementine raise their hand as Marlon was the only one to not vote for me. "It's a majority. So it's settled. From this day on, Gabe is one of us." Clem decreed as everyone was happy except for Marlon who just stormed up to his room like a little fucking child. "OK Gabe, I'll take you up to your room right n...." Clem started to say until she was interrupted by Louis. "Hey Clem?" Louis asked a little nervously. "Yeah Louis what's up?" She then asked back. "I was just wondering if we could talk just for a minute. There's something I need to tell you." Louis said. "Yeah sure. AJ can you show Gabe to his new room please?" She asked AJ. "No problem, Mom." AJ responded as he then escorted me upstairs while Clem began to talk to Louis. "Well, at least I kept my promise to Javi. I guess I do have a new family after all." I thought as I went into the hall with AJ.
