Chapter 12 "Breaking The News":

Gabe's POV:
We parked our car right in the garage that was next to the boarding school as we grab the supplies in the back of the car and walked up to the door. As Clem was about to open the door, I quickly stopped her so I could ask her something. "Clem?" I asked as she moved her hand away from the doorknob. "What? What is it, Gabe?" She asked me sounding concerned. "How are we going to tell them... You know that we are...." I stuttered as is and fell Clem cut my cheek again like she did in the car. "Relax, Gabe. I'm going to gather everyone up in a circle like we did yesterday and we're just going to tell him. There's nothing to be worried about." Clem tried to reassure me but I still was really nervous. "But what if Louis or even Marlon decides they don't like us together so they take me up to the roof and feed me to a herd of muertos?" I asked das the look on Clem face made it pretty damn clear that she thought my accusations were ridiculous.
"Your mind goes to some crazy places sometimes Gabe. And don't worry, if either one of them tries to kill you, I'll put a bullet in their goddamn skull and I'LL feed them to the walkers." Clem said with a bit of spunk in her voice. "OK, if you say so. You are the smartest person I know. Not to mention also the cutest and sexiest." I flirted as she then blushed like crazy. "Well you're not that bad looking either, dork." She said as she moves her body closer to mine and we shared a quick but beautiful kiss. "OK,  let's go inside now." Clem said as I nodded and we went inside the boarding school.
We walked in the door and AJ immediately ran up to Clem and gave her a big hug. "I missed you Mom." AJ said is Clem hugged him back. They then broke the hug as Clem then yelled out to everyone else in the school." "Everyone! Come to the main hall now!!!!" She yelled is Marlon,Violet, and Ten walked into the room. "Welcome back you two. Wow you got a lot of fucking supplies. Good job." Violet said welcoming us back. "Thanks Violet. But there is something I need to tell you all." Clem said as Louis then ran into the room.
"Clem, thank God you're back. There is something I wanted to say to you. I know that you said that you don't have feelings for me. Well at least the same feelings that I feel for you. But is there any chance that you could just think about it?" He asked her as I saw a look of surprise and slight disgust. "Actually Louis, I can't." Clem passively told him as Louis had a look of disgust now too. "Well why the hell not?" He asked sounding angry. "Well, that's the thing I wanted to tell you guys. While Gabe and I were on the supply run, after we gathered up all of the supplies, we... told each other how we truly feel. So, we're together now. We are a couple." She said as I saw her move closer to me and hold my hand. "We are in love."She said and as expected, Louis got upset at her confession.
"No. You're just messing with me right,Clem?" Louis said believing that Clem was only joking. "Well, does this answer your question?" Clem bragged as she put both hands on my face and smashed your lips against mine as they moved in a smooth and perfect motion. When we broke the kiss, we looked over at Louis who looked more pissed off than I've ever seen him before. "Grrrr! This is fucking bullshit! The one time I actually open up about my feelings, not only you deny them but you also get together with a guy who has only been in our group for 24 hours?!?! Fuck this shit!!!" Louis screamed as he ran out of the room in a frustrated way. "Well you know what, Louis is just being a little dick. Congratulations you too! You both deserve each other" Violet remarked as I felt good that she was on our side unlike Louis. "Yeah, way to go you too." Ten said as we then looked over to Marlon. "Yeah whatever. You two have fun." Marlon sarcastically remarked as he took his bow and arrow and just went upstairs. "Know what, he's usually a lot nastier than that so I'll take it." Clem as she and I prepared dinner from some stuff we found on the supply run.
We spent most of the afternoon after we ate dinner just hanging out together and with AJ. "So wait a second. If you're dating my mom, does that make you my dad?" AJ asked as my eyes went wide with surprise. "Do you... Do you want me to be?" I asked nervous that he would say no. "Yeah I would. You seem like a really cool guy and I always wanted to have a dad. Until we met the other kids, it was just me and Mom against the world. Literally. But I think it be awesome to have a dad." He said I became overwhelmed with happiness. My happiness only increased when he gave me a hug and I had back. "I love you, ... Dad." He said as both me and Clem got overwhelmed by happiness. "I love you too... Son." I said back as a single tear of joy streamed of all three of our faces. "Well it's time for bed, AJ." Clem said wiping away her tear. "OK, Mom. Good night Dad." AJ said before Clem put him to bed as I just felt so happy to be a dad, even if he isn't my biological son.
Not too long after Clem put AJ to bed, I got up to go back to my room to go asleep. "Wait Gabe, where are you going?!" Clem asked is I was going for the door. "I am just going to bed. Why?" I asked her confused. "Well I was kind of hoping that you would maybe... want to sleep with me." He said as I became extremely shocked and kind of aroused. "Re... really?" I asked her still shocked. "Yeah. I mean I am your girlfriend now and you're my boyfriend. When people are in a relationship, they sleep together. I just thought we could cuddle all night." She said as I just can't turn that down. " OK, I'm down. But let's go to my room it has a bigger bed. It's a queen size so I could fit both of us." I told her as a huge ass smile go over her face. All she did was nod and follow me to my bedroom so we could fall asleep together. We both strip down to our underwear and climbed in bed together. Once we were in bed we immediately cuddled up together as her breasts were pressed up against my chest and our forehead were touching ever so slightly. "I love you Clem. I'll never stop loving you and I'll always protect you and AJ. Like we're a family." I whispered to her as I then stared deeply into her beautiful golden hazel eyes. "I love you too Gabe.I'll protect you and AJ is well. And we're not like a family, we are a family." She said as we then smiled shared a quick kiss goodnight, and we fell asleep in each other's arms.
