Well the Hen party last night was fun until that motherfucker decided he wanted to become David Icke
I stayed in bed the majority of the day. I didn't want to be bothered and I was a mess luckily my best friends were here but it was only for a short while because they had to leave for New York.
"I can't believe your-" Jaya started
"He shall remain nameless" Troy interrupted
"Oh, so the man who contributed to your existence came all the way to London to tell you the royal family is crazy...doesn't that make him the crazy one?"
"Not to mention that bullshit ass story he told me" I sniffed
"Did you ask your mom if its true" Troy asked
"I'm scared. I don't want to upset her but that shouldn't justify his absence for not coming to Marvin's funeral"
"Maybe he was scared," Jaya said
I looked at her "It's whatever now fuck him"
"Does Alexander know?" Troy asked
"No he's still in South Africa and I haven't been able to get a hold of him."
"Hello, the car is here" Carrie called behind the door. We walked downstairs to see Thomas the driver and a butler loading my friend's luggage into the car.
Jaya engulfed me in a hug "The next time I see you, you'll be a bride"
"Like seriously your wedding in just 2 weeks" Troy squealed "This is my last time looking at you as a peasant"
I playfully shoved him
"Love you!" they called from the car
"Love you more" I called as they drove off. I watched as they disappeared down the road. I was alone again.
"Carrie, I would like to go to Buckingham Palace," I said as I turned to her
"Right away ma'am," she said as she pulled out her phone

I peered into the King's office
"Hello?" the woman asked
Shit, I've been spotted. I braced myself and shuffled into the room.
"Oh ma'am," the receptionist said as she got up and curtsied. "What may I help you with?"
"Is King Frederick available?" I asked
"I will call and ask," she said as she picked up the phone. "Hello your Majesty, Miss Zara would like to meet with you...yes sir," she said "he is in his office. You may meet with him"
"Thank you," I said as I proceed into the doorway. "Hello your Majesty," I said as I curtsied
"Hello Zara," the King said as he got up and kissed my cheek
"How are you?"
"Um...that's what I wanted to talk to you about"
"Ok take a seat," he said and he went back to his desk
"Um.." I said trying to sort my words "Did you always know you were meant for this life?" I asked
He chuckled "Of course not"
"So how'd you know?"
"Until I started to do it. I had no choice my father passed and I was next in line"
"So you believe you were destined for it?"
"Um...not in that type of fatalist thinking but yes"
