{Location: Silverthorne collage theater}(Skylor's POV)

Man, I've had itchy costumes before but man, this thing's gotta be made of sandpaper or something. And I think I'm allergic to this makeup that makes my skin dark like I've been turned evil. But hey, anything goes for a dress rehearsal. For the 13th time.

It's not my cue yet but I'm having a blast watching the play being overacted by Sam as the green ninja, Ken as the red ninja and a few others, tired, hungry and getting annoyed the Taylor wouldn't let us have breakfast.

"I have to get up there. I am the green ninja. I have the power." Sam in her green Ninjago costume points to the top of the tower made of p.b.c piping and cardboard, "I need to go now. Alone."

"No," Dana holds her shoulder, "We go together."

Ryan hesitates. He literally is the worst possible person for the role of Cole. Seriously, a rock with a smiley face would be better than him. Ryan finally gets a clue and moves to Sam, "We need to hurry. The Overlord won't wait forever."

They all scream, "Ninjago," then start charging up the spiral. Each slipping and falling to pretty lame things like a step then being all overdramatic about it. It actually funny to watch. Then Sam and Ken reach where I am. Ok. Time to rule this stript. I flip off of my perch A.K.A the catwalk holding up the black backdrop, "Halt. I, the evil and malicious sister of the red fire ninja, will not let you pass to defeat my new master."

"Get behind me, green ninja," Ken steps in front of him, half guarding Sam with his plastic sword, "Sister, it is me your brother. Don't join the dark side. Come back to the light and together we all can defeat the ultimate evil."

I draw my fake knife, "I don't have a brother." I charge him as Sam keeps climbing. I really, really, really wish I could use some real fighting moves, even a real punch or a kick but NO, Tylor insists on having a sissy slap fight. Because for some reason this play is a half comedy, half drama.

Man, I feel like an idiot now.

Ken looks so confident about it too like this is the best fight of his life when I know hitting like that will break his wrist.

Sam gets to the top and we freeze, me being right on the edge. Perfect. If I fall I blame Alexander for building the tower out of cardboard. Sam pulls on her hood, balls her fist but she's losing focuses as her stomach growls loudly, "I'm here, for glorious battle."

Pause.

I glance at Taylor, absorbed in watching his screenplay come to life.

Carlos, half covered under a black cardboard dragon, half made of thin sheets, covers his mouth and makes his voice very deep, "You are here to die."

"Not today." Sam reaches inside her uniform for the green plastic balls as a prop since she really can't harness an elemental power.

Carlos as the Overlord cackles, not exactly menacing more like he's going back into puberty again, "You can't stop me. You don't have a weapon."

"I don't want one!" Sam throws a few green balls.

Carlos falls off the building onto a mat. He gasps for air, "How can this be? I have been defeated by the green ninja. Oh, what a cruel world. My dark reign was going to be glorious, dark and malevolent. Why? WHy?"

"Oh shut up," Sam throws one more green ball.

"EhhAm!" Carlos plays dead.

My turn. I screech as I jump to the ground, carefully pulling off my evil mask, "Without the Overlord's control, I'm becoming pure and good again." I screech some more as I careful unbutton the dark colors of my costume to bright red.
