{Location: Clouse's study}(Sam's POV)
My finger itch. And twitch. I feel out of breath despite just waking up from what I'm estimating is a 3-day coma. Clouse zips around as he pulls out books upon books from his library. Meanwhile, I'm just confused.
Skylor looks beat up, a busted lip, nicks, and scratches but she manages to catch Clouse by the arm, "What? Happened?"
"I just want to know the slightest indication about the situation please." I start scratching my fingers only for more itching to happen.
Clouse takes a breath, mabey we should let him take a nap first, "When the enlightened Fays first gave the first spinjutzu master the elemental heart, he gave it to people he thought were worthy of certain powers, the elemental powers we see today. But there was one left after the master of amber stole it." He snaps his finger, smokey pictures appearing all around, "The element of magic." Most of the smoky pictures are pages upon pages of tiny letters and hand-drawn images.
I frown as I am quickly bored with the pictures around me, "Magic can be an element. Isn't it a little more 'poof' there it is?"
Clouse frowns while folding his arms and the pictures around us disappears, "To be fair, time, sound and light are elemental powers."
Skylor folds her arms, "But those all come from an elemental power ancestor. Does that mean-"
"EW!" I stick my tongue out, making gagging noises, "Ew, ew, ew!"
Clouse looks a little repulsed too, "No. Magic was never given out as an element until now. But some people are more sensitive to magic than others. With a proper awaking and training, they are very powerful while being few and far between."
I shake my head, my brain not wanting to focus on his words and instead explore. I hate days without my meds. But this feels like my mild A.D.H.D. skyrocketed to crazy hyper mode. I don't like it. I don't feel in control, "Cool." I move to rub the back of my head only to end up touching my bad eyes. "Can you like take it back?"
He looks shocked like I just swore in front of him, "Why?"
"I don't know," I put my hands on my hips, "Mabey because I don't want lasers blasts coming out of my fingers everytime I move my hand," I raise my hands and sure enough, bright yellow sparkles shoot up at the ceiling. Making a large section of roof nearly land on Clouse and Skylor, "Like that. Just like that."
Clouse steps over the roof, "I can't. Unless you'd like to die."
"Oh." I glance at Skylor. She smiles contently.
"Don't worry," Clouse loops his forearm under my chin, "With years and years of training, studying and dedication to the dark arts, you'll be an impressive apprentice yet."
I push my head out, "Is all this studying gonna be indoors?"
"Of course."
"Then no thanks," I hate being cramped into a small space. Why I hated school and love college. Having that freedom to learn how I want to learn.
Clouse glares, his hands filling with purple fire, "You will be my student, learn the ways of dark magic, unexplored Ninjago magic and have the tongue of Vayla. And I will be forever known as the most powerful magician in all of Ninjago."
"Va-who now?" I plead with my eyes at Skylor. My brain can't focus on anything right now and I need a minute or two to let all my crazy out.
Skylor wonders over, standing slightly in front of me, "So in other weird and random news, why'd the heart just fly off?"
