{Location: Outside Clover's shed}(Skylor's POV)

Thub, thumb. Thub, thumb. Clover's bounding a ball or something. I stand up on my tiptoes, "Board?"

"Eh," He smiles at me while catching the ball, "Just a little. Did you work out those finer details with Sam?"

"Yeah. She's really talented at this magic stuff. She's already has a duplicate spell mastered, and all that implies," I still don't want him to leave. Clover's been there for me as often as he can. And since Father will do everything in his power to get Sam back, they'll both hide and I won't see them again for a long time. I push aside me already missing him as Eye-zore and Sleven walk over with chains in their hands, "She's hiding right now."

"But she's still new at it. Am I gonna have to teach her to fight or is she coming prepared?"

"I gave her my crossbow along with a few pointers," I've got to go. For some stupid reason, Father wants me by his side as he banishes my closest friend.

"Awesome," Clover throws the ball at the door when the handle jiggles, "Hey, just remember what I said, find a way to serve then get off the rock."

"I will. Gotta run. I'm supposed to banish someone." I lower down onto my feet then start sprinting through the jungle.

"Wonder who that could be?" Clover chuckles as Eye-zore heads into the shed.

My feet automatically glided over stumps and branches. The vines everywhere though keep getting in my way. Eventually, I arrive at the dock, where a huge crowd of servants surrounds the entrance while my father and Clouse await at the end. I slow my speed and stand at his side.

Father gazes at his new elemental staff like he's in love with a metal pole, "Ahh, Skylor. Tell me something about Clover."

"He's kind, caring and strong. One time he-"

"No," Father hits my head with his staff, "Those are clearly all lies meant to trick you. But he slips up. Tell me one of those times."

"Well, every two weeks he'd disappear to drive a truck halfway across the country for a maniac wanting to take over the world." Clover doesn't have a bad bone in his body. Sure, he hates his island as much as I do but he hasn't and won't do anything to harm another person.

Father's eyes widen but still long to the staff, "Really? Who else is trying to take over Ninjago? Last villion meeting I called dibs."

"Um, what?" I think Dad's been on this island way too long.

"Nothing. Who was this person Clover was working for?"

"You." For once I don't care how insulting or direct I am to my Dad.

And it actually feels incredible. What a rush.

"Yue, I'm not familiar with that person, "Father grooms his beard.

Clouse shakes his head with a heavy moan, "Master, she's mocking you. There isn't a person that has a name by Yue. She meant you, her Father."

Thanks a lot, big mouth.

Father hits my head again, "Manners, Skylor."

Just as I'm about to come back with an incredibly salty and sarcastic, sorry, Clover is pushed onto the dock. He stops cold.

Some guy from the side throws a tomato at his face, "TARATOR!"

"And because I don't have a reason to hide my annoyance at you all," Clover lets himself be pulled by his guards, "You suck, and you suck and you fricking suck. You, well, I never got to know you that well so you kinda suck. But oh YOU definitely suck." He keeps insulting the crowd as the shout insults over him.
