CARLEES POV
--------------------
The rest of the car ride was silent but it wasn't an awkward silence.
Every once in a while I would catch Jaxon looking over at me and I would look over and say, "Eyes on the road," and send a playful little wink his way.
We got to his house around 8:15 and explained to his mom that I wasn't in the correct mental state to arrive to school and focus for 7 hours.
She 'OK'ed it & let us go upstairs and play video games.
"Here," Jaxon tossed me a pair of sweatpants and then continued with,"Call of Duty one, two, or three? or Assassins Creed?"
"I'll just sit here and eat food while you play video games." I laughed softly, and sent him a small smile.
"Okay, well come here," he said as he pulled me onto his lap.
"Aren't I going to distract you?" I said, feeling self conscious.
"No BabyGirl, no!" He said, tickling me.
"Stop, stop, stop, AHHH." I started laughing really hard after I said this.
"I still need to change!"
"Then I'll look away," he said covering his eyes, and turning around.
I quickly changed then went to go sit back down next to him.
"Nah-Ah-Ah," he laughed and set me back on his lap, only to have to get up to go get our junk food moments later.
He walked back in the room with four bags of potato chips, four cans of soda, and three bags of m&ms.
"You're truly perfect, Jaxon Dylan Lux."
"Just because of junk food? Damn, I could've gotten you earlier..." He laughed.
"You already had me Babe," I said as I kissed his cheek.
"Alright, game time Baby, no lovey dovey stuff," He winked.
"Fine," I got up and walked into his closet and grabbed one of his MANY t-shirts and pulled mine off, walking in front of his tv, trying to catch his attention.
I slowly put on his t-shirt.
He caught on to what I was doing and stood up and walked over to me.
"Don't do this, Carlee..." he smirked.
"Do what? Hmm?" I winked.
He pressed his lips against mine quickly and pulled the t-shirt over my head.
"We JUST started dating, Carlee." he winked.
"UGH. Fine." I started laughing really hard.
After multiple bags, sodas, and containers of food and drink later, he drove me home and walked me to the front door.
Only to find my dad asleep on the couch, and my brother at the computer.
"Thank you Jax-----"
"Call me Babe, or Baby, or anything but my name please Baby." he smiled.
"Fine. Thank you for the ride home BABY." I said putting emphasis on the word 'baby'.
"You're welcome Beautiful. Text me later." and with that, he kissed my cheek, climbed in his truck, and drove off with a smile and wave.
I walked upstairs to my room, sat on my bed, and turned on Netflix.
As I started watching "The Walking Dead," I reached into my backpack, only to find the sweatpants & shirt I wore earlier stuffed in it with a note attached saying;
"You need to text me, I miss you already.
XOXO
