JAXONS POV
I didnt' know what I was going to do when I saw her but I needed to see her. I missed her too much.
I got the first plane ticket I could and flew to Montana and arrived late.
I knew she wouldn't be awake but I could call her, right?
I arrived at her apartment complex and immediately froze.
What if she didn't want me?
She opened the door right as I was about to knock and her jaw dropped.
I don't blame her.
I probably looked like shit.
"You.... You're in Montana??" Within three seconds, her arms were wrapped around my neck and she was hugging me so tight, I swear my cirulation was gone.
"Yes..." was all I could manage to choke out before I sobbed once again.
"Don't cry, Baby. Please don't." She pleaded.
Baby. That one word. Was I even her 'Baby' anymore?
"I missed you, Carlee. So much. I cried myself to sleep. I couldn't text you or call you. I would try to call and break down. I would try to text and they would end up m-making me sob."
"Sh. You're here now. We'll be okay."
"Can..... Can I lay down? Somewhere.... Anywhere?"
"My bed?" she suggested. Her eyes filled with all the hope that that one small sentence could possibly hold.
"Wait, Carlee."
"Yeah?" Her eyes fell to her socks and I knew I had upset her.
"Trust me... I want to lay with you. I want to act like this never happened. I want to be us again. Are... Are we even an us anymore?? Am I even your baby anymore?"
"I.... Please be.... I want you more than anything I've ever wanted. You're my everything. Please stay with me," she started tearing up after her small, but meaningful, sentence.
I pulled her in for a quick, but passionate, kiss.
"You're all I've ever wanted. You're all I will ever want. Woman, I'll spend the rest of my life chasing after you, anywhere. ANYWHERE."
She let a small smile out.
I knew, after that small smile, it would all be okay.
