"Hey mom, good morning." I chirped.

"Morning baby. Are you going to the college?" She asked me cutting the apple into slices.

"Yes, I am all right today." I told her eating those apple slices. "Lisa isn't coming though. I might go to her place after college, can I?"

"Ok, just be safe and please don't go close to the graveyard." She warned me.

"Yes, sister we don't want you lying six feet deep inside a casket soon." (you all can guess who made that statement.

"Shut up Ed, lets go." And we walked to the college.

We were just crossing the road when a car zoomed into us and stopped next to Ed. I yelped.

"Oh, and Emma I forgot but I will be bunking the college today." He said as Annie rolled down the glasses and at the same moment I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, see you at home then." I waved him and crossed the road for the college.

College would be a boring deal today. No Lisa, no Eddie. I huffed at the thought and entered the corridor. A lot of students were looking at me and talking in hushed tone, pointing fingers at me. They knew what happened at the graveyard. I threw my bag into the locker and went out of the corridor searching for a secluded place. I made my way to the back of the main building. It was all quiet and dusty, the whole path was covered in fallen leaves with huge trees on both side. I cleared a spot on the ground and sat on it contemplating the graveyard incident. I was so busy in my thoughts that I almost missed the approaching footsteps, the crumpling of the fallen leaves, almost. I turned just in time to a very smiling Jon Carles. Damn it, not him again!

"What are you doing here Ms. Scott?" he asked taking steps closer to me. I picked myself up and faced him.

"I was leaving." I said taking a determined step towards him

"Oh no, you are not." He said taking another step close to me, which caused me to back down.

"Sorry?" I asked backing away fast.

"You know that, that night at the graveyard I took you in my arms and brought you to nearby hospital." He said smirking my way. I had no such idea. I kept quiet. "But Lisa was there too or I could have driven you out of the town with me." My eyes bulged out at his statement.

"Why?"

"You are not that silly Emma." He was right, joining the dots now when he was constantly moving closer to me with his hands outstretched was not a rocket theory. "Lisa isn't here now, we can have a good time together if you want."

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Okay, so you don't want to have a good time." He said rubbing his stubble which gave him a rugged handsome look. "No problem, I can still force it on you." And he passed an evil smile.

"You cannot do anything like that, everyone will get to know and you will be jailed." I bluffed

"How, do think that, the Police never came to question you about the graveyard incident Emma?" He asked and his question forced me to access the statement. It was true, there was no involvement of police on that. "I paid them. I can pay them now too. So, be a good girl and come here" he said finally closing the gap between us. I turned to run, but he was fast and strong. He pulled me back and I collided with his chest. The collision took me off guard but he was all warm that it disgusted me . He turned me around held my waist and looked into my eyes, they were full of desire.

"Leave me." I was next to shouting when his expression changed. His grip on my arms loosened and his eyes went out of focus. He fell on the ground with a thud and clutched his abdomen tightly

"Who did that?" he shouted, looking around. There was no one. He looked at me in disgust and then fled the place. I was jammed at the place, accessing what happened in front of my eyes. I was about to leave the damned place when I saw him. He was there, in the same black hoodie covering his face except his mouth and he smiled at me. Enough of the smiles, it was creeping me out. I walked towards him but he turned and started moving towards the front of main building.

"Hey, stop." I called from behind but he didn't slow his pace. He strutted away from me and I felt so sad, so miserable looking at him leaving me again. I wasn't sure if he was really Alex because I knew he is sleeping beneath the earth, but whosoever he was, he felt so close so authentic so Alex. I tried catching him but he soon disappeared between hordes of students. I sighed and went to class.

Author's Note:

I am in no mood to write an author's note, I am so tired right now and it very warm here with 44 degree Celsius. Nonetheless, I should apologize for the two days delay, I forgot to update.

Question: If you could be any animal, what would that be?

Mine: Elephant, don't ask me why.
