Not All Girls Cry

Chapter 10

Lucifer gave Rue a a white dress that touches the the ground. "If you don't mind, would you change into this for the painting?"

Rue smiles weary, she doesn't like dresses but, she would do it for the painting. "I don't mind!" she grabs the dress. "Where's the bathroom?" She asks.

He points down the hall. Rue nods and goes to change into the dress. After she put it on she grabs a handful of the fabric and lifts it up for her to walk. She enters the painting room where Lucifer was waiting. "What next?" Rue asks.

"Put on that crown and sit next to that harp." He said and sits down on his stool in front of the frame.

She puts the gold crown on and sits down next to the white musical harp with gold strings. "Pretty..." she mumbles. Lucifer smiles.

"Okay and all you have to do is close your eyes and pretend to play the harp for 20 minutes and I'll have the painting done."

Rue gve him a weird look. "20 minutes? Doesn't painting take longer than that?"

"If you have the talent then it's possible." Lucifer answered.

20 minutes later Rue changes back to her original clothes and Lucifer thanks her. Rue smiles and

waves goodbye. She walks back to Dante's shop to see only Nero there. "Hey." She says and he turns over to her.

"Back at yah, where's Ella and Dante?"

"They went shopping for some sofas." He said boredly. Rue giggles and he gives her a look.

"What?" he asks.

"I bet she'll make him get some purple sofas..."

"Come on. Huury up!" Ella called to Dante.

"Well you know what would make it go faster?" He asked dropping the couch.

"What?" Ella asked.

"If you helped me woman." Dante said.

"Nah. Don't feel like it. Now come on and get it inside." She said.

After about fifteen minutes Dante had sat the black leather couch, that fits three people, down along with two black leather recliner chairs, and a light purple carpet underneath a glass coffee table.

"Wow, Ell. That looks nice." Rue said and Nero agreed with a nod. "I'm suprised you didn't make him get purple couches." She added.

"Well we have purple walls and now a purple carpet. Don't get me wrong I love purple, but don't you think adding purple couches would have been too much purple?" Ella asked.

"True, true." Rue said with a nod.

"Oh! Nero i have a suprise for you." Ella said walking over to the couch.

"What?" Nero asked, not sure if he should be happy or scared.

"It's a pull out!" Ella said and pulled out the matress.

"Sweet." Nero said.

"And i got you some sheets." Ella said holding a light blue bed set.

"Double sweet." Nero said.

Suddenly they all heard screaming from outside and when they opened the door they saw...
