Chapter 6

Late that night, they sit down on the tattered sofa after cleaning the shop. Ella sighs. "Finally! We finished!" She leans back tiredly.

"Where are we going to sleep since the guest rooms don't have beds.?" Rue asks. Dante smirks and sits between them.

He puts his arms around their shoulders. "Well I guess you two cute girls will be sleeping in my room tonight~."

"HELL NO!" Nero and Rue yell at the same time and Rue and Ella push him off the couch.

Dante's eyebrow rised a little at Nero's response. "What's with your excuse kid?" He asks walking over to his desks.

"Uh," Nero slightly blushes after glancing at Rue. "Nothing, old man."

"Actually that's a great idea!" Ella says. Dante smirks and Rue and Nero give her scared looks.

"I think she has finally lost it." Rue whispers to Nero and he nods in agreement.

"Rue and I will take your room and you and Nero can have the couch." Ella finishes with a satisfied grin.

"Oh thank god." Rue whispers to herself while Dante sweat drops.

"That's what i get for letting my hopes up." Dante whispers to himself.

"But, im not tired. So what do you people do here at night?" Ella asks.

"Well..." Dante says with a smirk.

Ella and Rue look at him with viens popping out of their forheads. "Nevermind." Dante says with his hands raised.

"Where does someone find a good demon nest around here?" Ella mutters to herself.

"They just kind of pop out whenever they feel like it." Dante says and crosses his legs on top of his desk.

"Do you even get any business around here?" Rue asks.

"Of course I do." Dante says.

"No, he doesn't." Nero says in a sing song voice.

"Then I guess we'll just have to go out looking, now won't we Rue?" Ella asks standing up from the couch.

"Let us go then." Rue says and follows Ella out the door.

"Should we go with them?" Nero asks Dante.

"Why not?" He asks shrugging his shoulders. "It's not like I have anything better to do." He finishes and the two then walk out into the night.
