"Billy! Billy." Jason yells. I can feel the tears start to gather at the back of my head. I can't imagine a life without Billy.
Sure a few days ago I wouldn't have even thought about him but now. Now things are different. Billy grew on me.
"Billy...?" Jason screams one more time.
"Did we just kill that dude?" Zach asks not making me feel any better.
"What do we do?" I ask trying to slow down my breathing. Nobody answers. I look to Jason hoping he can give me some reassurance. Again nothing.
I start to pace just like Billy was doing only moments earlier. I stop only to hear Billy screaming from hundreds of feet below.
"Billy's ok!" I sigh running over to Jason, kneeling down beside him. I look up at him and shine that big goofy smile, just like I did earlier. He looks back at me with an even bigger smile plastered on his face.
"Alright. I'll see you guys down there." Zach says then points at the yellow beanie girl. "Bring that crazy girl." He says before jumping off the cliff.
This time Jason's the one to grab my hand and make me jump. "Come on guys," He says before we jump off, hand in hand, just like before.
We land in a large body of water, sill holding hands. I open my eyes to see Jason already looking at me. He smirks sending shivers down my spine.
At this moment I can't help but feel a tremendous amount of calmness wash over me. Like everything was moving in slow motion. I'm not complaining though. These pass few days have been absolutely chaotic. Who knew Jason Scott could make me feel so calm.
I smile back before swimming up to the surface of the water. As I swim I pull Jason up with me. We stay there swimming for just a moment before Jason says,
"Hey guys. Guys. Check out how we glow."
I look down to see a ring of white glowing around me.
"Haha I'm blue." Billy says in a optimistic tone. "It's not my favorite but it's cool"
"I'm black." Zach says looking down at the glowing ring around him. Bill looks up with a confused look on his face and says,
"What?"
"I am." Zach laughs.
"No you're not." Billy replies in a very serious tone making us all laugh. Billy plunges underwater splashing me right in the face. He comes back up saying,
"Guys there's something down there."
Billy goes back under water, waving us to follow. I dunk under the water following Billy's lead. We swim for a minute or so before Billy stops.
He pushes his hand forwards, it disappears. What the hell. He pushes his hand further. I reach out, the same thing happened to my hand.
"Jason I'm sliding." Billy says right before we all fall into this pit of rock.
"Shit. What the hell just happened?" I say while standing up and brushing the dust off my legs. We all look up to see the water above us. This makes no sense.
"Come on." Says Jason taking the lead. I follow him up to this metal, almost spaceship looking, shelter.
"This must have been here for millions of years I mean look at how the rock grows around it." Billy observes. I look around. This is incredible.
"I don't like this place." Kim says while Jason pulls out his coin, it starts glowing red.
"Hey guys." Jason says showing us all his coin. "Check it out."
Suddenly a door behind us opens. I look at Jason before he starts walking up the stairs to the door. I follow behind him trusting that we'll be ok.
We end up on this platform with 6 different sections.
"Jason is this real?" Billy asks. "Like are we really in a spaceship?"
"I think so. Just, just breath ok?" Jason responds, looking around.
"Hey we've all seen enough. We should get going now." The girl says walking back towards us.
"What. No we're going be famous!" Zach says yelling and running around.
"Hey quiet there's someone here." Jason says. We all immediately fall silent.
The ceiling starts to move, rotate in all different directions.
"What's going on?" I ask grabbing on to Jason's arm.
"I don't know." He whispers in my ear.
"There's no way out." Kim screams.
"That way!" Jason yells pointing to the right. We all start running finding different places to hide. I duck down behind a pole. Barely big enough to conceal my body.
Suddenly the girl screams. I move out of my hiding spot to see her being dragged out by her legs. Zach moves and starts running out to her. I follow only to be met, face to face, with a small, robotic creature.
"We will kill you." Jason threatens the robot.
"Kill me. How?" The robot answers, swinging its arms around.
"There's 6 of us." Kim says.
"I know. I've been waiting for you." The robot says causing me to furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
This is crazy. Absolutely crazy. I mean 3 days ago I was sitting in detention and now I'm talking to some robot with 5 strangers. Can life get any crazier? I mean I guess everything happens for a reason.
Right?
