After an intense few days of training, we were all completely exhausted. I have multiple bruises on my back and my lip got busted on the first day. And I don't look half bad compared to what Zach looks like. Even though we had been working our asses off we still couldn't morph, and I couldn't help but feel like it's my fault.
Jason has told me endless amounts of times that It wasn't my fault but I still feel like it is. Things have been sorta awkward between us. He has given me a few rides to detention and you could practically FEEL the tenseness in the air.
Everything returns to normal when we have other people with us though. Like when I pick up Billy and Jason. Things are normal with us when its a group but when its just me and him things are uncomfortable.
I snap out of my thoughts when Alpha leads us down to a part of the pit we've never been in before.
"If Rita manages to create Goldar...Are you listening to me?"
"Uh yeah sorry," I reply swallowing the lump that I didnt know was in my throat.
"And she rips the crystal from the ground, it'll be like 10,000 nuclear bombs washing over the earth."
"That supposed to freak us out?" Zach says causing me to roll my eyes.
"You keep making this harder. We're busting our asses! Feel free to throw us a bone at some point." Jason says, stepping next to me.
"Yes, I see you 'busting your asses' so I've decided to give you some inspiration." Alpha points behind him. "What you will find beyond this wall will forever change your lives."
I look over at Jason hoping that he would speak up again. He looks back at me and shrugs, stepping forwards towards alpha. I roll my eyes and follow.
"Come on!" Alpha waves us on to follow. He points to these large robotic animals. "The Zords! Pretty cool, right?"
"Yeah!" Billy answers a big smile taking over his face.
"They take on the form of the most powerful organism on the planet." He explains. "When these Zords were formed, dinosaurs reigned supreme. They will be an extension of you. And their power is all but limitless."
Billy screams a sound of joy, clapping his hands together while screaming making everyone break into a fight of laughter. "This is so cool!" He says. I smile making Jason smile along with me.
Alpha turns around and says, "But, you're not ready for this power. When you morph, your armor will make you one with the Zords. So come on, let's go train. Todays the day you become Rangers, I can feel it!"
I sigh and turn around, pulling my ratty hair out of my face. Jason turns to me and says, "Okay, let's go we got this Ken."
I instantly feel my cheeks turn pink as I try to hide my smile. "Thanks, Scotty." I walk forward towards the group but, I could still feel Jasons stare on me. I turn around and he quickly looks away pretending he wasn't looking. I laugh and turn back around.
As I continue walking I notice that one of us is missing. Alpha does too and says, "Wait. Where's Zach?"
"Seriously?" Jason says while rolling his eyes.
Suddenly, the ground begins rumbling and the rock starts cracking. A Zord comes running at us full speed breaking down the rock.
Jason grabs my hand and tells me to run. We all begin running away from the Zord but, it seems to keep catching up.
All of a sudden the Zord comes to a stop as we all fall to the ground. Smoke rises above my face causing me to grow into a fit of coughing.
"Are you ok?" Jason asks me his voice laced with concern.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say. "Thanks"
Zach come stumbling out of the Zord apologizing, "All right my bad, my bad, that's on my right there."
"What's your problem?" Trini screams at Zach.
"You could've killed yourself!" I say joining in with Trini.
"Or us!" Jason adds on stepping up so he's standing next to me.
"Back off boss man!" Zach whines towards Jason.
"Hey!" Jason says spinning Zach around and punching him square in the jaw. I gasp running to try and break up the fight.
"Hey, Hey! Stop it"
"Come on guys." Billy tries to help as well but fails just like I did. Suddenly Zach punches Jason and it soon it's a free for all.
Kimberley runs up and puts her self in between Jason and Zach. Zach pushes her away and keeps swinging at Jason. Alpha steps in as well but doesn't do much.
Then, by the miracle of god Billy steps in pushing them away and says, "Just stop fighting please!"
As I look back at him I gasp in complete and utter shock.
"Holy shit. He morphed." ~~~~~~~~~~~ A/N: So I'm not dead lol just really busy. I got a job so my schedule has been filled with school and work and practice and everything. Sorry this chapter kinda sucks but the next one is GOLDEN :) believe me!!
