The Daughter of Poseidon

Chapter 1

I had a dream. A really weird one too. I was underwater and these half horse-half fish creatures were swimming around. Along with those creatures, there were mermaids and merman swimming around. It was a very beautiful sight, but it had to stop because I started waking up.

"Ugh," I moaned. I hate getting up early on weekends. All I wanted to do was sleep. But, yet again I went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good Morning, Ava." My mom said.

"Good Morning, mom." I said groaning.

"Here are your waffles, chocolate milk and your homework" my mother said.

"Why homework?!" I screamed.

"Because your teachers love giving you homework." My mom said sarcastically. I hate it when she does that.

"I hate you, Mrs. Pound." I murmured. I seriously hate my science/math teacher.

As I wrote my name on my sheet of paper I heard a voice saying "Ava Zimic, your life will change very soon." I thought I was hallucinating so I went back to work. After I was done with my homework I was bored. I couldn't play Fortnite, I couldn't play on my phone because it was dead. The only thing I could do was either go outside or watch Glee. So I picked to watch Glee. After about 2 episodes I went outside and rode my bike around my court (My block is like a circle). Soon enough, the day was over and I had to go to sleep.

I had another dream. But this was an even weirder dream. In my dream I saw a man, a woman, and a baby girl. The man was in bermuda shorts and a tropical top and the woman was in a maternity gown, so maybe she just gave birth to the baby girl. To break the silence the man said something.

"What should we name her?" The man said.

"Ava sounds like a lovely name. And Nicole sounds like a perfect middle name." The woman said.

'Wait,' I thought. 'Thats me.'

The man leaned closer to the woman and said,

"I have a charm for her. Since she was born with a tail, I must give her a charm so she can hide it and grow like a normal demigod-girl." He said it very quietly.

Then that can't be me, I thought.

"Welcome to the world, Ava Nicole Zimic!" And as he said that he put a sea turtle charm on the baby girl.

The baby's feet started kicking after a minute. The necklace beamed with aqua light and then the light diminished. I took one last look at the family and then the scene changed.

The next scene were visions of my Kickline performances and Lacrosse games, which I didn't understand, but it all zoomed on the man from my previous dream. I didn't get anything and soon enough my alarm rang. Yay, school.
