When I opened my eyes I was on a porch facing strawberry fields.

"We're here. Now we have to talk to Chiron." Percy said.

"Chiron?" I said. "From the Greek myths? What the heck. My moms gonna worry!" I take out my phone and I call her.

"Mom? Hi I'm at this really weird place" I started to say but then Percy took my phone.

"Hi. This is Percy Jackson. Yeah. Camp Half Blood. Ok thanks." Percy hung up my mom.

"Why did you take my phone?" I said and he gave it back.

"Demigods aren't supposed to have phones." He said "Follow me" I followed him.

We walked into a rec room and all around the ping pong table were 6 kids fighting and there was a centaur (I know that because I knew greek mythology).

"Stop fighting! All of you!" Percy yelled. Everyone looked at him, even the centaur.

"Seaweed Brain," a girl with startling grey eyes and blonde hair said. "Who is this?"

"Uh?"

"You didn't ask her name?"

"No" Percy said.

"Well, what's your name?" the girl said.

"My name is Ava Zimic" I said. To be honest I was afraid of the girl.

"Ava Zimic? That name sound familiar" Percy and the centaur said at the same time. Ok, you can say I was a little creeped out by that.

"Well," the centaur said "I must go." He directed me and Percy to follow him. We found ourselves in a living room.

"Please, have a seat." said the centar.

"What is this place?" I said. I was so confused, I just wanted to go home.

"Well Ava, this is Camp Half-Blood. This place is a camp for people like you."

"Who are you? What am I?" I said. I really didn't want to be here. I just wanted to go home.

"I'm Chiron and you, you are a demigod. You're half god half mortal." Chiron sounded chill. On the other hand I was freaking out!

"This is insane." I said. Then I got thinking. My mom told me that my dad left a little while after I was born and he never came back. My mom said that he was charming and loyal. She told me that it was for my own good.

"Wait," I said. "My mom told me that my dad left us because it was for my own good." My eyes starting sting with tears, but they quickly evaporated.

"Well Chiron, her godly parent has to be one of the 'dads'." Percy told Chiron.

"Well we'll just have to wait till the campfire then." Chiron said. "For now, Percy, show her the camp and get to know the child." Chiron left.

"Come on." Percy said. "I'll show you around."
