Noah's POV:

I swam over to Ava and scanned her. I saw where she got hurt but more blood was spilling out then there should have been. I held her head as I started crying.

"Ava, d-d-don't. S-st-stay. Don't close your eyes." She smiled at me.

"Noah, this is my destiny. I'm supposed to die. I died a hero." I brushed her hair out of her face. Her sea green eyes lost their spark of happiness, her face was getting pale. I found ambrosia and tried feeding her ambrosia but she kept on resisting.

"Noah, stop." She winced. "My life is almost gone," She said in a whisper. "Tell my dad that I loved him and I'm sorry that I couldn't spend more time with him." She coughed. I started crying more.

"Ava, don't you dare close your eyes." I said in a stern voice. She smirked.

"Stay strong, Noah. And remember I died a hero. My tale of my bravery will live forever, okay? Thank you for being such a good-" Friend. She stopped and stared at nothing and then closed her eyes. I started slapping her lightly.

"Ava, AVA! WAKE UP! COME BACK." I screamed while I was balling. Alex came up behind me and put an arm on my shoulder.

"Noah, we have a job to do. And I'm sorry for all the fights that we've had, about my family and yours but right now, we have a job to do in Ava's honor." I got up and turned around, unleashing my dagger.

"Let's kill this witch."
