I hated all of the attention so I ran. I heard Percy scream my name but I continued to run. I found out that I was running to the beach. Once I got there, there was no way to run. I could only go into the ocean. So, that's what I did.

"I hope I lost Percy.-wait." I said. I can speak underwater?! I felt good, to be honest. I heard voices in the distance but they were underwater.

"Hey! Who are you?!" I heard a boys voices say.

I looked around and I couldn't see anyone. All of a sudden I saw, what was that, a merman? Yeah, a merman.

"Aaah! A human!" He said frantically. He started swimming away.

"Wait! Stop! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you!" I yelled.

"Wait, you can talk underwater." he said. He started swimming back.

"Um, about that, yeah, I'm a Poseidon child." I told him.

"Oh. I haven't heard that Poseidon had a girl child." He was looking at my necklace.

"Oh my gods. It's you! Poseidon has just claimed you! He really wants to meet you. Your Ava Zimic, his special daughter!" He was 'jumping' up and down. "I'm Noah Drifter."

"Oh, hello Noah." I said and I smiled. But what I was wondering why am I so special? I had to ask.

"Why am I so 'special'?" I asked. Noah looked at me like something was wrong.

"I think I should let Poseidon tell you. Come on I'll bring you to him." Noah looked like he was eager to tell me but he couldn't. Oh I forgot to tell you what he looked like. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. His tail was a bright orange. I've never seen a mermaid or merman before so I got excited.

"But what about Percy? He's probably looking for me." I said.

"Percy Jackson? Oh boy, Poseidon hasn't seen Percy in a long time. See if he can come too."

"Ok." As I swam up I heard Percy saying something to someone. When I came up, he was talking to that blonde haired girl. When he saw me he tackled me into the water.

"AH! Percy. Get. Off. Of. Me."

"Sorry."

When I got out of the water Percy checked to see if I had scars.

"Percy I don't have any scars, I didn't get hurt. But we need to go underwater." I told him everything.

"Ok, fine." Percy looked at the blonde haired girl.

"Oh, Ava, this is Annabeth." He introduced me to Annabeth and to be honest we were best friends in seconds.

"Percy we have to go now." I said.

"Ok." We went into the dark ocean of the night.
