4. Party

*3 Days Later*

Jade's POV

Thank God It's Friday.

Jesy and I are going to Serena's birthday party after school today and it was all I could think about during the day.

"Oh Jaaaaade." Jesy waved her hand in front of my face. I shook my head. "Yes Jesy?" "Focus. We have to do pages 110-112 in the book." Jesy and I were in History when I dozed off. "Sorry." Jesy slid her book inbetween us and I ripped a piece of paper from my binder. "Um, Jade?" "Yes?" "I think you're gonna need more than one piece." Jesy said.

Riiiight. I thought. "Oh. Yeah." I ripped two more sheets of paper out and set them on my desk.

Jesy and I finished our assignment just before the bell rang. "Ok class, if you finished pages 110-112 then you have no homework. If you didn't, then you have homework." Our history teacher, Mr. Smith said.

"Yay! No homework!" Jesy and I high-fived each other. "Some people are the lucky ones." A guy named Carl Vine muttered. Carl is on the shorter side, like me. Everyone loves his brown, curly hair.

"Oh don't hate, Carl." Jesy said. I chuckled to myself. I'm pretty sure Carl rolled his eyes cause he does that when he's mad.

How do I know that? I may or may not have had a crush on Carl once. Even though I'm a sophomore and he's a freshman.

"Oh Jaaade. You alright?" Jesy was calling me. "I'm good." Jesy raised an eyebrow at me but didn't say anything, luckily.

Riiiiiinnnngggg!

"Let's go, Jadey." Jesy grabbed my hand as soon as I was done packing my stuff. "So what class do you have next?" Jes asked. "Spanish." I said. "Oh yeah. Spanish with her." Jesy rolled her eyes.

I groaned. "Jesyyy. When are you going to stop being jealous of Leigh?" "Don't say her name!" Jesy snapped. I rolled my eyes. "Jesy this is ridiculous." "No it's not." "How?" I demanded. Jesy didn't answer. I smirked.

Jesy slapped me on the arm. "Stop smirking." "Sorry." I felt my smirk returning. Jesy opened up her locker. "I'm going to P.E. Have fun in Spanish." She kissed me on the cheek. "Thanks." I kissed her on the cheek.

"Jade!" Leigh was standing at my locker. "Hi Leigh." I opened my locker and grabbed my Spanish textbook. "Let's go." I closed my door and together we walked quickly to Spanish class.

Riiiiiinnnngggg!

Finally! I thought happily.

I packed up my stuff and quickly walked out of Geometry. I was on my way towards the bus when my phone started ringing. "Hi Jesy!" "Jadey! Where are you?" "Going to the bus." "Meet me at my car." "Got it." "Cya then." Jesy hung up.

I turned around and headed towards Jesy's black Honda Accord. I couldn't believe that her mum and dad bought it for her sweet 16. Pretty soon I saw Jesy standing outside on her phone.

I decided to sneak up on Jesy. "Jade?" I hid behind a car before she could see me. "Ugh. Where is Jade?" I saw Jesy turn around and I made my move.

I walked up to Jesy and screamed, "Boo!" Jesy screamed. I laughed. Jesy made a fight. "Get in the car, you little brat!" I did as she said while still laughing.

Jesy started her car. "I can't believe you sacred me like that, Jade. That wasn't funny." "I'm sorry, Jesy. Do you forgive me?" I gave her a smile. Jesy sighed. I decided to go from a smiley face to puppy dog eyes.

It took Jesy nearly 5 minutes to notice my puppy dog eyes but it worked cause Jesy pulled over on the side of the road and said, "Fine Jade. I forgive you." I smiled. "Yay!"

My phone rang. "Hello?" "You ready?" Jesy asked. "Yeah I've been waiting for this party all day." Jesy giggled. "Alright. I'll be at your house in 5." She hung up.

*honk* *honk*

I unplugged my phone and its charger and stuffed it in my purse. I quickly ran out of my room and hugged my mum. "Have fun, Jadey!" She called after me. "You ready?" Jesy asked as soon I got in the car. "Yep." I replied.
