16. Trouble

A/N: so before we start, I wanted to say thanks for 3k reads!! it's kinda crazy how popular this story has become! I started this story in June and look how far we've come !

Jesy's POV

*the next day*

"I hate all of you!" I yelled, slapping each boy across the face. Sherman got pissed but I couldn't give two s.hits.

I ignored all the threats those idiots sent me and marched straight to the principal's office, where I could report all 5 of them.

"Good morning, Jesy." Mrs. Oliver, the assistant principal, said to me. "Good morning." I said while forcing a smile on my face. "What's the problem?" She asked me. How did she know that? I thought to myself.

"I'm a target of bullying." I sighed. "Write their names down on the paper and we'll take care of it." Mrs. Oliver said. As soon as I finished writing, the bell rang. "Have a good day." Mrs. O called to me. "Thanks." I called back.

*skipping the walk to 1st block*

"Ok class, get in your groups." Mr. Smith said. I was paired with Carl Vine, a shy freshman who never usually talked to me.

"Hi Carl." I said sweetly. Carl smiled. "Hey." I noticed that he was struggling with the worksheet. "Do you need some help?" I asked him. "Yeah. History's not my strong point." "I understand. What is your strong point?" I asked. "Math."

"Math. My weak point." I chuckled. "It seems like math is everyone's weak point." Carl admitted. "That's 'cause it is." A guy named Ryder Reeves said.

Ryder is the kind of guy who thinks he can get any girl he wants. How do I know this? He's been wanting me for a while now but I'm not interested. Ryder doesn't seem to realize that.

"Say sweet cheeks." That's the unwanted nickname that Ryder gave me. "How bout giving this handsome devil a chance?" He raised his eyebrows at me. I gave him an "ugh" and focused on my assignment.

I was sitting at lunch with Emily and Serena when I saw the blue-eyed girl with my ex, Jade and her new girlfriend, Leigh-Anne Pinnock. I glanced at Jade and Leigh but I was mainly focused on the blue-eyed girl.

Her blonde hair was tied into a bun and it looked so cute. She was wearing a blue shirt with short, denim jeans. I quickly looked away before she noticed me. Even though I don't know her, I couldn't help but like her.

Instead of joining in on Emily & Serena's conversation, I spent the rest of lunch and the school day thinking about the blue-eyed beauty.
