Ares's PoV:
After the meeting I quickly left to train myself and my acolytes for the upcoming battle. I was so focused that I barely noticed somebody walk behind me. It was Athena. "Hey, why did you leave me so quickly... I mean the meeting?" Athena said with emberassment. "You know you're really cute when you do that face." I said. Athena blushed "You still haven't answered my question?" "Why does it matter to you?" I asked. "N-n-nothing, I just thought that maybe we could train together." She said while blushing. "Okay, my acolytes will just have to train by themselves." I said excitedly. It isn't everyday that the goddess of wisdom asked you to train with her. "Maybe my hoplites can train with your acolytes." She said. "How many hoplites do you have?" I asked curiously. "About a hundred." She said while smiling. "I bet that my hoplites could beat your acolytes." She said excitedly. "It would be wise not to underestimate my acolytes. But if its a bet you want, im in." I said my voice full of excitement. "Okay, If my best hoplites beat your best acolytes, you train me how to use a sword like you do." Athena said. "Okay but if I win, I get a kiss from you." I said while smiling. "Uh-hh-h w-w-wh-at...?" Athena stuttered while blushing madly. "You heard me, if I win I get a kiss from you." I said. After that Athena didn't say a single word but she kept blushing like a tomato. I wonder what she's thinking. I was about to say something when she suddenly spoke up. "Were here." She said while looking up at my house. "Home sweet home. By the way where are your hoplites?" I asked curiously. "Oh I could summon them from thin air wherever I am and whenever I want." She explained. I staired at her with shock. "What?" She asked me. "I never thought you could summon soldiers out of thin air." I said while dumbstruck. "Oh come on Ares don't be like that. Hades could summon skeletons out of the ground. Poseidon could summon his merman whenever he needs help. My power is simply not that amazing." She said calmly. "You're amazing." I suddenly said out loud. She blushed again. I was about to take her hand when a man suddenly opened the door. "Father you're back. And it seems you brought a guest. How was the meeting?" The man said. "Oh it was okay. By the way Athena this is Alvares one of my elite guards." I told Athena. "Lady Athena I am sorry for my rudeness earlier." He said while kneeling. "Its okay no need to kneel." Athena said. "Alvares alert the others that Athena will be staying with us for a while and to clean up their mess." I told Alvares. "Yes father." He said. After that he quickly left us. "One of your elite guards?" Athena asked while we were entering my house. "Yes my elite guards are well elites. Their battle prowess is on par with my own." I explained to her. "That's fun to hear. How many elite guards are their?" She asked. "There are about 8. Cheer up Athena im sure your hoplites could beat my acolytes." I reassured her. "I didn't strike you as the reassuring type Ares." Athena joked. "Be ready to summon your hoplites Athena cause were near." I said to her while taking her hand. She was blushing as I took her to the training room. I couldn't help but smile at her. She's very beautiful. She's even more beutiful than Aphrodite. But I couldn't say that outloud.
