Ares's PoV:
We were nearing our destination when I looked at Athena. She was beautiful. Her face was also red. "Are you alright Athena?" I asked. "Y-yeah why wouldn't I be okay. Hahaha." She blurted out. "Okay what's wrong?" I asked again. "Seriously nothing's wrong. Im completely fine. See." She said while blushing. "I can see that you have a beautiful red face." I teased. She blushed like a tomato. "How cute." I teased her again. "The goddess of wisdom blushing hahaha." I joked. "I AM NOT BLUSHING. Ughh." Athena said with clear irritation. "You can ask me anything you like?" I said. She stopped for a moment then continued to walk by my side. "Why are you so nice? Aren't you supposed to be more warlike?" She curiously asked. "I am nice to you because because you're very brave. You trespassed on my home. Broke my door. You were surrounded with weapons aimed at your throats and your partner was unconscious. Yet you stayed calm knowing that I was there. One the strongest and most feared olympian. From what I can see you've got balls. Even Hades the god of the underworld is afraid of me. I nearly obliterated him once for kidnapping Alexis, one of my acolytes." I told her. "Oh yeah that gives me another question. Who was that blonde man and why did he call you father?" She asked with hurt in her eyes. "All of my acolytes are like my children. All of them were orphans. I adopted them or rather took them to make them my own. Cause you see it gets rather lonesome in my huge temple with nobody to talk to, eat with... Oh by the way the blonde's name was Alexei, he's Alexis biological brother." I explained. "Im sorry I didn't know what you felt or rather I didn't bother to know what you felt." She said sadly. I touched her cheek and planted a small kiss on her lips. She was too shocked to do anything. "Know need to apologize. None of it was your fault. In other words it was mine for being born into this world." I said with a sad expression. She was about to say something when thunder crackled and lightning flashed in the sky. I sighed and gave her a small smile. "The meeting's about to start." With that said I grabbed Athena and sprinted towards the peak of mount olympus with the still unconscious Hermes. Athena was hugging me tightly so she wouldn't fall off. "Like I would let you fall."
