Boring Author Introduction

Ok, so before we start this story I just want to mention a few things. Such as my updating schedule and all that shhhh.

1 - Schedule - I will be updating once(maybe sometimes twice) a week since I do have a life. Maybe sometime in the future it'll change. And if I have some free time, I might write another chapter, even if I already updated this week.

2 - Cut me some slack XD - I don't have much writing experience so sorry if the words just get...choppy or awkward or things like that.

3 - Errors - I'm just going to say this in advance. Sorry for any grammar, spelling, or punctuational errors in this story.

4 - Timeline - This story will be taking place during the first season. And if I make a second book(depends if this book is liked or not) then it'll be based off of the second season with the Ten Commandments and all that shhh.

5 - Chapters - Each chapter will be based off of an episode from the anime/couple chapters from the manga.

6 - Spoilers - I highly suggest watching the anime and/or reading the manga before reading this book.

7 - Ownership - I OWN NOTHING BUT MY OC! THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS/NANATSU NO TAIZAI BELONGS TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS AND THIS IS JUST A FAN MADE STORY!

8 - Why I decided to make this book - I decided to make this book because well...I've seen a lot of fanfictions about like "What if there was a secret eighth sin?!" And I liked that concept. But all the good ones either got dropped or were just given a quick and shitty ending. And the others just stopped at chapter 2 before anything interesting could happen. So yeah. I promise I will not randomly drop this story, and if I do, then I will let you know. And I'll probably only drop it if I get a lot of hate and you guys don't like it.

9 - My OC - My OC(the eighth sin) is a girl named Arden. She is the badger sin of vengeance. Why badger and why vengeance? Well, I read somewhere that badgers represent revenge and all that shhh and this gave me a cool idea for this character's backstory. I won't spoil anything. Yet. And this character is a hybrid between demon and human. Her mother was a demon but her father was human. And she was cursed(or was it blessed?) to stop aging. She could still die, she could just never grow old and she can't die from old age. She's short and has white-greyish hair and dark blue eyes. Her usual attire is a comfy and loose blue dress with a black leather coat as a cover up. Her badger symbol is on the back of her neck, hidden by her hair and a black choke collar as extra precaution. And her sacred treasure is a giant black scythe. (The name of her scythe is Hell's Blade). Also, can I mention something? I haven't read a single fanfic about the seven deadly sins/Nanatsu no Taizai with the eighth sin with the sacred treasure being a scythe. I've seen one being a katana, a necklace, a ring, a sword, but never a scythe. Which I found strange. Anyways, she uses dark magic. Also, her personality is...weird. She's usually very loud and hyper and playful. But she's also really protective of her friends and those she cares about, and will kill anyone without hesitation if someone hurts them. She'll also kill you if you break her trust or upset her. She isn't the sin of vengeance nothing, you know. And...that's about it, I guess.

And 10 - SHIP - Which one of the sins do you want Arden to end up with? Heckle. She could even end up with Elizabeth or a side character like Howzer or Gilthunder. Or she could just be a single pringle or she could be a single pringle and wait for the second book for the relationships and all that.

And the badger sin of vengeance.

I went with the badger because I had already seen the cat, tiger, and wolf sin. And I had trouble choosing between monkey, pig and badger but went with badger since it sounded cooler and the pig was a bit too much like Merlin's boar. So yeah.))
