The restaurant my family and I are eating at had wifi, that's how I'm able to update. But until Wednesday(or until we find another spot with wifi) I won't be able to update no more. Chapter 13
Meliodas...Is That Really You...?

Arden's P.O.V.

Fear. I hate it. It makes me do stupid things. Stupid things like cling to a very confused and slightly frightened cheeky little fox. Who ever heard a vengeful badger clinging to a cheeky fox friend? Nobody. That's who.

I'll just pretend like it never happened when this is all over. Yeah. That's what I'll do.

"Well...that's some serious bad news." Ban whistled. I nodded.
"Yeah..." I trailed off.

"...I'm going to find Elizabeth and Hawk. So put me down." I loosened my grip from around his neck. Ban nodded and gently slid me off his back, making sure I landed on my feet. I wobbled a little bit but I quickly regained my balance.

"You'll be alright on your own?" Ban asked, his eyes glazed over with worry.

How sweet. The cheeky little fox is worried about me.

"I'll be fine." I told him. Then I glared at him. "And what happened just before never happened!" I snapped at him. Ban chuckled but then he nodded. I nodded back at him then ran off to go find Elizabeth(and Hawk). And Ban ran off, too. Maybe to go get King and/or Diane...I have no clue.

I found Elizabeth and Hawk. But they were (unfortunately) behind the raging evil demon Meliodas. I sighed.

Just great.

I decided to go around the captain, not wanting to alert him that I was there in case he attacked. Because I knew that I wouldn't be able to handle myself in a fight in the current state I was in.

Success.

I clicked my tongue as I successfully managed to go around the captain without him noticing me. He was busy fighting Guila and Jericho.

I appeared behind Elizabeth and patted her head with a smile on her face. She practically whipped her head around to look at me. Her eyes were fearful at first, but then relaxed into joy when she realized it was only me.

"Hey there, Hawk, Ellie. You guys alright? Not hurt?" I asked. Elizabeth shook her head.
"We're alright. But...Veronica...she..." Elizabeth trailed off sadly. I placed my hand on her shoulder sympathetically.

"I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. But you'll be all right, Ellie." I smiled and eventually Elizabeth smiled back at me.

Then we turned to look where Meliodas was. I couldn't see Guila or Jericho, but I could still feel their magical energies. So they must be around her somewhere. And I couldn't see Meliodas either. But I could feel that overwhelming sense of bloodlust and his magical energy. So he must also be around here somewhere.
