Chapter 5
Doctor DOUCHE

Arden's P.O.V.

"Princess Elizabeth, I have come to take you home." The knight apparently named Golgius bowed and held out his hand.

How did I know he was a holy knight? It's simple. Even though I couldn't see his face, I could tell he had a douchebag look.

"Hold it right there! If you want Elizabeth, you have to go through me first." I hissed through gritted teeth as I stepped forwards.
Ahh...If only I had my scythe.

I couldn't see his face, but I think the knight's eyes widened when he saw me.
"Ooh. This is going to be interesting. Right, Arden the badger sin of vengeance? I didn't know you would be here!" I didn't even bother replying. Why waste my words on trash?

The knight turned invisible again. I scanned the room trying to find where he went. I still wasn't sure if it was teleportation or invisibility. Much too late, I bit my tongue to hold back a scream as he reappeared behind me. Before I could do anything, I felt something sharp stabbed into my neck. Like a syringe or something.

And the next thing I know, I'm on the floor unconscious.

((Arden basically got drugged XD))

Third Person's P.O.V.

Golgius caught Arden as she fell then gently put her down on the ground. "Two sins in one go. Now then, with her out of the way, this will be a lot easier for me."
"What'd you do to Arden?!" Elizabeth gasped. Golgius chuckled.

"Fear not, Princess Elizabeth. She is only unconscious. Second thing I need to do...is..." Golgius walked over to Meliodas and pulled the blanket off of him. He then grabbed Meliodas's sword, which he held tightly in his hand.

Golgius tugged, but the corpse didn't seem to want to let go.

Golgius finally managed to get the sword out of Meliodas's grasp. Golgius smirked from inside his helmet and turned to Elizabeth.
"Now, then, Princess. Let's go."

~~We interrupt this moment for a wonderful flashback!~~

The sins were all gathered around a fire. Most were sleeping. The only ones awake were Ban and Meliodas, while Arden was only half awake.

"C'mon, captain. What's the big deal? Let me have a look at your sword." Ban smirked. Meliodas sighed and took a sip of ale from the mug he was holding.
"Why're you so interested in this junk, anyways?" Meliodas asked Ban.

"I'm just curious to see why the captain of the eight deadly sins is carrying around a sword like that. How could I not be curious?" Ban asked as he stood and walked behind Meliodas. Ban placed one of his hands on Meliodas's shoulder and grabbed the sword with his other. Meliodas dropped the mug he had in his hands and instantly grabbed his sword with one of his hands. It was like a game of tug-a-war.

"Let go, Ban." Meliodas said in a warning. Arden stirred and looked over at them.
"You two are still awake...?" She yawned.

"Let go, Ban. Don't make me angry." Meliodas gritted his teeth. Neither of the boys acknowledged Arden, which kind of ticked her off.
"Angry? You? I've served with you for years, and I've never seen you angry once." Ban provoked Meliodas purposely. Arden yawned, fighting to stay awake.
