Chapter 9
You Have Have Tamed A Wild: King
King Joins Your TeamArden's P.O.V.
"Hey there, Everyone."
I smiled brightly when I saw my favourite ginger haired boy.
"Hey, what's the big idea, King?" Ban asked as he coughed up some blood. "I'm here to save your asses, obviously." King rolled his eyes.
"Save me, huh? Thank you so much." Ban said sarcastically.
"Shut up. I'm only doing this for Arden, the captain, and Diane." King sighed.
"Oh? But not me?" Ban pretended to look hurt.
"I guess not. It's also for my sister, Elaine, who cares about you."Before Ban and King could continue talking, Guila came back with another explosion. Honestly, I'm not even fazed anymore. Yeah, it's still annoying as fuck and it stills hurts when it hits you, but it's the same old thing over and over again.
"You're betrayal was not unexpected, King the Grizzly sin. However, I do find myself disappointed." Guila faked a frown.
Betrayal? Oh, shit! King, please don't tell me you allied yourself with the holy knights!"You saying that to me was not expected. Since I don't recall ever officially allying myself with you holy knights. The realm wanted the eight deadly sins dead, and I wanted Ban dead. Our interests were aligned, that's all. But now the situation has changed." King rolled his eyes as he spoke.
"I see. An entirely predictable excuse." Guila smiled slightly. Then she raised her sword and pointed it at King."Shot Bomb!" She casted a spell. Around eight little balls of...fire(?) shot out of her sword and were aimed at King. King flicked his fingers and his spear shot out of Ban's stomach without him touching it. His spear destroyed all the little balls of fire before they could explode and hurt anybody. I watched in awe. I've seen King fight before, and he was amazing, but I could feel something had changed from the last time I saw him fight(and not just his appearance).
"Magnificent..." Guila mumbled to herself. "So that is the spirit spear, Chastiefol. Said to be forged from the Fairy Forest's Holy Tree. Well, this will make things interesting, at least. Come at me, then, five-on-one." Guila smiled but frowned when she saw Ban shake his head.
"No. One-on-one." King smiled.
"She's all yours, King!" Meliodas called out and he sat down near Diane. Ban sat down next to him.
"Yeah...my durability for being stabbed and blown up is full for the day, sorry." Ban said as he sat down. I laughed and sat down next to Ban.
"You can do it, King!" I gave him a thumbs up.It was pretty amusing to watch Guila's expression go from smug and confident to worried and fearful. She went from trying to bounce back King's attacks, to dodging them completely. And it was priceless.
It went on like this for a while. King would cast a spell with his spear, Guila would dodge and blow something up, but the only person actually doing damage and winning was King. And it's not surprise. King is decently strong.
"Brilliant Detonation!" Guila casted out a spell. This one seemed pretty powerful.
"Spirit spear Chastiefol, fifth configuration: Increase!" King snapped his fingers and his spear turned into about...50 tiny knives. He snapped his fingers again and they all dove at Guila's attack, and around half of the knives and he giant ball of fire disappeared. The other half of the knives appeared behind Guila. King mumbled something I couldn't catch, and the knives all pummelled towards Guila. There was the breaking sound of the emerald-like rocks and a scream of pain from Guila.

AdventureAhh. I suck at descriptions. But I'll give it a go, why not. We all know the main gang. Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, Diane, King, Ban, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor. But in this story, there's an eighth sin. The badger sin of vengeance. And the person...
