I walk into school heading to my locker to put my shit away.

"Wassup!!" Sam slides literally slides into me.
"Oh my god. Leave me alone" I push him he laughs. "You literally just slid right into me."
"...Um...not actually right into you" he says with a smirk and I burst out laughing.

"Hey guys!" Austin and Stella come up to us. "What's with all the laughing without us?" Austin asks.
"I made a perverted joke" Sam shrugs. I shut my locker and turning to them.
"Of course you laugh at that Jo" Stella says.
"Sorry I'm a pervert Stella" I mutter we start walking. "Also give me your math so I can copy" I tell Sam.
"Can't you do it in class?" He asks.
  "Yeah I guess" I shrugged.
"Jo are you ever gonna be on time with your homework?" Austin asks.
  "Uh...no."

"Jo!" Tiffany skips over to me with a sickly sweet smile. I give her a look. Why was she talking to me.
"Mm...ya?" I asked. She looks at Sam with most definitely hungry eyes.
"Well you heard about my party obviously?" She asks.
  "Yeah" I nod.
  "You're coming right?" She asks.
"Yeah." She then leans in really close to whisper to me.
"Could you like...bring Sam" she whispers. "Because I don't want to look totally desperate and ask him to come."
"He was already coming" I mutter.
"Oh he was" she states pulls back smirking that's the one perverted joke I won't laugh at. I roll my eyes. Tiffany was this annoying bitch in school that was popular and very well known and liked. Aka, she was a slut. "Great, Thanks" She grins at me and then Sam. "I can't wait to see you there Jo."
"Don't pull that act on me Tiffany" I mutter crossing my arms. Her eyebrows knit in confusion.
  "What?"
"You know exactly what...don't be a fake bitch kay?" I smile her smile drops. "You don't even like me."
"Whatever" She shakes her head and walks away.
"What was that about?" Sam asks.
"She only came here to tell me to bring you to the party" I mutter. "Cause she's a grade A whore."
"Ugh, always hate her" Austin rolls his eyes.
"She seemed like she liked you," Sam says.
"Sam...sweet baby angel, don't be naive. She's a fake bitch" I say patting his cheek.

The bell rings and me and Sam head to our math class.

"Stella? Can you drive me home after school?" I asked sitting at the lunch table between Austin and Sam and Stella in front of me.
"Sorry can't, I have volleyball practice after school" she tells me I groan.
  "I can" Sam butts in.
  "Actually?" I asked he nods.
  "I wouldn't say I could if I couldn't" he mutters.
"Thanks" I reply. I bite into my piece of pizza.
"Jo I think you need a boyfriend" Austin looks at me shoving pizza in my mouth.
  "Why?" I asked mouth full.
"I mean...you haven't even had one yet" he shrugs.
  "I agree!" Stella says.
"Have you kissed anyone yet?" Sam asks I roll my eyes.
  "Yes" I mutter.
"But I'm not kidding" Austin says. "Why don't you go for Kyle? He's so into you."
"Because I'm not into him dumbass" I roll my eyes taking my tish and wiping my mouth. Sam introduced me into the word "tish" short for tissue.
"No into who?" Kyle and Caleb show up sitting down. Of course.
"We're trying to get Jo to date" Austin mutters.
"Who?" Kyle asks looking over to me. I mentally groan.

Why do I have these people as my friends.
"Anyone, Someone hot, Someone Cool, Someone nice. Know anyone?" Austin asks. "Don't suggest yourself. It'll be completely pathetic, and we've tried she's not into you."
"Oh my god Austin you're a dick" Stella nudges him I hold back a laugh.
"I wasn't planning on it" Kyle rolls his eyes.
"I don't need to date anyone until I want to" I mutter. "Also! Why aren't you dating anyone?"
"Because, I'm a gay guy and all the attractive guys are straight," he responds.
"Kinda makes sense" I roll my eyes. "Just leave me alone."
"Why is Sam so silent?" Caleb asks.
"I'm eating" Sam says with a mouthful of food.
"ANDREW!!" Austin yells and I look at him confused. "He's perfect!"
"Oh my god, no way" I shake my head. "Nuh-Uh."
"You're too picky" he crosses his arms arms rolling his eyes.

~

"Thanks for driving me" I said as me and Sam got into his car. He had a Jeep. It was beautiful.
"Don't have to say thanks. It's not a big deal" he shrugs. He starts to car.
"You don't think I have to date right?" I asked as he pulls out of the parking lot.
"I mean, if you want to then yeah sure. If you don't then no" he says. I look at him. "Why?"
"I don't know. Sometimes Austin makes me feel like I should do things I don't know about" I look back at the road once we're on the actual road anxiety kicking in. I grip the handle to the door.
"If you want to be with someone then do it. If not. Don't. It's pretty explanatory" he says. He stops at a red light and looks over to me. I was gripping the handle so hard my knuckles were white. "Are you alright?" He asks.
"Huh? Yeah I'm fine" I nod. "Why?" I asked.
"You're gripping the door handle...really hard" he looks at my hand and then we hear a honk and panic seized in my body but he just didn't go through the green light.
"Sorry" He says after he noticed I jumped a bit and he didn't drive. He goes.
"You didn't do anything, besides not go through the light" I say relaxing just a bit.

I've never been in a car with him. It freaks me out.
"I know, but...you just don't seem comfortable" he says.
"I know I'm being a complete puss" I roll my eyes.
  "No, I understand" he shrugs.
"Don't pity me dude. I hate it."
  "I wasn't."
"Right" I look at him. I relax a bit more. "It's been like 3-4 years" I mutter.
"So what" he replies. "People take time."
  "Change the subject?" I asked.
"Sure" he nods. "Why have you never gone out with anyone?"
"Wow" I laugh. "Big one," he laughs a bit. "Um, well I don't know. I mean I guess I just didn't want to" I shrugged. "And ya not like I have guys lined up for me."
"Well from what I've seen, there are many guys that like you" he says I scoff.
"I have many guy friends but I doubt many of them like me" I said.
"I'm sure they do," he says. "Like...Kyle for sure. Also Andrew, and even though Ian acts like he doesn't it seems like it" he mutters. "I'm not surprised. You're an attractive girl that plays video games and is cool, what else would they want" he says and that honestly made me blush. I don't like blushing.
  "Shut up" I mumble.
"I'm being honest Jo" he shrugs.
"You shrug a lot" I tell him.
"You say whatever a lot" he responds.
"Wh-shut up" I said he smiles.
  "What was that?" He asks.
"Fuck off" I wave him off he laughs.

He got to my house 5 minutes later.
"Thanks again" I said grabbing my bag off the floor of the car.
"No problem, see you later" he says back.
  "Bye."
  "Bye."

I walk into my house after unlocking it. I drop my bag onto the couch and head to the kitchen to eat. Cause food is my life. And I'm always hungry.

I grab myself a water bottle and a couple granola bars. A couple as in like 8 of them. I grab my bag and head up to my room. When I walk in I drop my bag and lay on my bed pulling my computer out. I was ready to binge the office again and eat granola bars. This is what my life has consisted on this past month. My phone dings. It was Austin.

Austin: I mean you could totally date Sam!

Me: stop. I don't like him that way, he doesn't like me that way. I don't even want to date dude

Austin: don't call me dude idiot. But fine whatever you say
Austin: although I do think he might have some feelings for you hun

Me: you're wrong, I'm going to watch the office and eat so have fun trying to find someone I will never date...

Austin: whatever bitch bye!

I roll my eyes but laugh putting my phone down. I go onto Netflix and continue the last episode I was on.
