The warmth in the man's arms shifted forcing his eyelids to open. He looked at the sleepy boy with a kind smile, Tyler lowered his gaze as his cheeks blazed crimson. Josh let out a low groan and shifted a little, his arms still around the boy not ready to let go of him just yet. The brunet was like a little bird that needed warm and was kinda annoying because it wouldn't stop squirming.

"Hey..." Josh's voice was groggy from the sleep

"Hello," Tyler mumbled, his mouth guarded by his softly clenched fist

"I had the weirdest dream," the man laughed and sat up

"Oh?" Tyler sat up as well because he had no other choice since Josh didn't seem like he was gonna let go of him any time soon "What was the dream about?"

Josh smirked, a sly glimmer flickered in his eyes. Tyler moved his gaze away from the man.

"I thought you'd tell me..." Josh murmured, his breath tickling the side of Tyler's neck

"What?" Tyler yapped, Josh felt the tremor taking over the younger boy's body "I-I... How could I possibly know what you were dreaming about?"

"Nevermind then," Josh sighed with regret and moved his face away "Did you dream about anything?"

"No," Tyler swallowed thickly, his face was already red

"Right." Josh squeezed out a smile

Tyler slithered out of the man's embrace. Josh didn't want to let go of the brunet, Tyler felt bad forcing himself out of the man's arms. No matter how warm and comforting his body was, Tyler needed to focus on his main goal. Tyler had already forgotten that what he came here for in the first place, Josh offered him a job earlier on and it would've seemed incredibly rude to drop it. The job was why he came to the man's house in the first place.

Tyler walked out of the house feeling hazy, he liked napping but not what came after the nap. Napping was supposed to be refreshing, invigorating. Instead, Tyler always got a headache and nausea. He woke up feeling like he was teleported to another dimension, everything around him felt so outlandish.

Josh stepped out of the house shortly, keys rattling in his hand. He unlocked the shed for Tyler even though he could've easily done it himself. The man handed Tyler the tools and told him what to do. Tyler was happy that he finally got a chance to distract himself from the man, trimming the henge was his favourite thing in the world. The loud rumble of the hedge saw drowned out every sound around him, all Tyler could hear was the powerful buzz emitting from the machine. The boy felt relaxed and at peace despite all the noise. Not for long, though. One glimpse at the man shattered Tyler's serenity and all he could think of was Josh.

Josh was sitting on the pool-side chair, a cold drink in his hand while the other one was draped comfortably over the armrest and he was watching Tyler. Josh lifted his sunglasses up with a smirk and winked at the boy as he was carrying the leaves to the compost pile. Tyler's cheeks turned red, he tried to act casually but he tripped over a branch making the situation even more awkward for him. He felt his shirt ride up his bum... He forgot to put his overalls back on. The boy could feel the redness on his cheeks. There they were, his overalls, casually chilling on the couch inside while he was walking around with no pants on. That's why Josh was smirking at him so much.

Tyler zoomed into the house to get dressed, he jumped around frantically trying to slide the denim up his thighs. The brunet took a look into the mirror, his sun-kissed cheeks blushing furiously. Tyler could feel the blood rushing to his face, it pulsated in his temples making him feel lightheaded again. Tyler was mortified, frozen to the spot. He felt traumatized, the boy couldn't believe it had happened. He was strolling around the yard with half of his ass sticking out. Tyler clenched his shaking fists and rubbed his scorching eyes. A silent sob escaped his lips and the boy collapsed on the couch. No, he wasn't gonna cry but it still sucked. It sucked that he wasn't an object and yet he was treated like some TV show. He knew that Josh didn't mean it, the man just wanted to tease him a little but it still hurt.

Tyler brought his knees up to his chest and hugged them tightly. There was still some work left but first, the boy had to calm himself down. He glanced out the window at the man who was now walking inside with a concerned look on his face. Tyler quickly stood up and dried his eyes with the hem of his shirt.

"Hey," Josh stopped Tyler from walking out "I'm sorry."

"F-for what?" Tyler smiled carelessly

"You know." Josh set his drink on the table "God, I feel like such a pervert, I'm sorry."

"It's okay." Tyler sniffled, his face leaning into Josh's warm chest

"I'm so sorry, love." Josh stroked Tyler's hair

"Wh-what..." Tyler lifted his wide eyes up

Josh flashed Tyler a toothy grin and kissed the top of the boy's head tenderly. Tyler's breathing got significantly heavier, panic sent rippling waves through his whole body. His legs became numb, heart pounding so hard against his ribcage as his pulse pressed outward, jerking the veins within.

"Come, let's go finish with the job and I'll get you ice cream." Josh chortled "Can you swim?"

"Yes, why are you asking?"

"Oh, great, you'll help me to try out that giant swan float I bought the other day." Josh's digits threaded through Tyler's brown locks playfully

"A giant swan float?" Tyler repeated modestly

"You heard that right, love," Josh responded

"L-love?" Tyler blinked rapidly, his pretty eyes filling with tears again

"Yes." Josh chuckled "That's what I said."
